Is there a GS game (or mod) that has a large focus on trade/economics as well as military?

Why does the OP always give that autistic warning about the steam group? What's the fucking problem? If there isn't an official steam group why not just make one? Newfag here

no
stop asking retarded questions alex

Nevermind, I'm retarded in reading comprehension.

You help them fight rebels and don't call them in wars.

Not really, Victoria 2 is your best bet.

fuck off

how the fuck is this shit balanced

Yeah but who the fuck cares about steam groups? What's the issue?

lurk more

I've gone full national-populist as the PSA. Mexico is rightful californian clay. Hawaii is next.

I joined the entente to guard against the filthy syndicalists. Canadians are bros.

is it possible for an AI netherlands to not accept the treaty of london?

yes

Not him but I've been here two years and I still don't get the steam group thing because it's fucking stupid.

nice try

alright, do they actually go to war or they just have the cores on belgium? also if they conquer belgium does luxembourg still have cores?

thanks

If they have cores they will try to get them back

can they actually defeat the brits with french help?

Who knows

alright, can you liberate luxembourg from them?

French are fucking worthless as an ally. Prussia's a better bet.

I am playing as prussia because I want to test something

What would be some good names for the USA or CSA if they actually bothered to name their countries?
"United States" is not a name, it's just a description, and "of America" just says where said States are.

new africa

Just solo the Eternal Rosbiff, then. Or try to ally one of the other Great Powers.

>"United States" is not a name, it's just a description, and "of America" just says where said States are.
t. butthurt spic

I don't know

>t. butthurt spic
what did He actually mean by this?
Don't you think the "name" "United States" is boring as shit?

Except that's exactly what it is. A collection of united states in America

That's why they added "of America"
Deal with it, we're America, bitch.

I know that's what it is You retard. But you don't call Mexico "The United States", even though that's part of the name. America just has no fucking name.
Brazil for example is named after some trees that were on the coast, and also some mythological island or something.
Bolivia and Colombia are named after people
Argentina is named after silver or something in latin
"United States of America" is generic and boring as fuck

wtf I'm actually going to play his mod even more now

what mod

Millennium Dawn, for GoY$
It's one of the few good mods for that game, honestly.

>t. spic with no national pride
The United States' name is historical retard, it is based off the original 13 colonies. It was the original "united states". I think that's interesting enough.

>>t. spic with no national pride
again, what did "Anonymous" mean by this?
>The United States' name is historical retard
I know it's the historical name, that's why I was asking for different ones.

top epip *pips*

America. The USA is also called that.

>Bolivia and Colombia are named after people
>America isn't
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amerigo_Vespucci

bud den it wud be ameriga :^DDD
also it's the United States OF America, not "America". If the USA was officially called "America" then that would be fine, it's a pretty good name. Though I'm still missing one for the CSA

make both "america" just to confuse oldworlders

ah yes

>need a name for CSA
As a general rule communist countries have pretty uninspired names. CSA or something like "The American Commune", or "People's Republic of America" would be fine

see

What happened to genocide lad?

got genocided

>dismantling grossgermania as the Netherlands

Good.

>referencing my post from 10 hours ago
wew

also, you don't do it alone

Literally all (read: ALL) of those other countries
have extended names.
>Mexico -> United States of Mexico
>Brazil -> Federative Republic of Brazil
>Bolivia -> Plurinational State of Bolivia
>Colombia -> Republic of Colombia
>Argentina -> Argentine Republic
The United States of America is no different. You can call it by "America" or you can call it by "United States." Colloquially we call it "the United States" because it was literally the first United States to exist (and for a while, was the only one to exist) and is the most prominent.

We call the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" the "United Kingdom" or "Great Britain", but I don't see you complaining there.

>We call the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" the "United Kingdom" or "Great Britain", but I don't see you complaining there.
Because "Great Britain", "England", "Scotland", "Wales", and "Ireland" are actual names
And yes, all of those countries are called "The United States of this" or "The Republic of that", but then they have their own name. Bolivia is the name of Bolivia, created for Bolivia.
Mexico is the name of Mexico, and so on.
while the United States don't have their own name. They're just a bunch of states forming part of a nameless union in a continent.

Mexico doesn't have its own name. It's named after a city.

Brazil doesn't have its own name. It's named after the brazilwood tree.

Bolivia doesn't have its own name. It's named after Simon Bolivar.

Colombia doesn't have its own name. It's named after Christopher Columbus.

Argentina doesn't have it's own name. It's named after the Latin word for silver.

It does have a name though, America. Granted it also shares that name with the continent but other countries do that too. Like Australia, or India, or South Africa.

See, that's what I'm taking about, those are original names, related to the history of the land and such.
Honestly how can You be this retarded
the USA should just be officially called "America" or "Columbia" of fucking "GroBwashingtoniums", i don't care. But at least those would be actual names

Why can Mexico be officially known as the United States of Mexico but America can't be known as the United States of America?

What's the difference?

>Australia
Not a continent. Oceania is a continent.
>India
Not a continent
>South Africa
Africa is a continent. South Africa isn't.
>american education

>>Australia
>Not a continent. Oceania is a continent.
Is it possible to be any more retarded than this?

Because the name Mexico comes from the city of Mexico. There is only one "Mexico"
While there are a lot of "United States" in America
The purpose of a name is to be at least a little bit unique

>Australia
>Not a continent
Well, I think many geographers would beg to differ.
>India
>Not a continent
It's a sub-continent
>South Africa isn't a continent
And neither is United States of America. So case closed.

Also I'm British.

But there's only one America too.

>The purpose of a name is to be at least a little bit unique
Yeah, it's not like lots of places in the western hemisphere would be called something unoriginal like "New [somewhere else's name]".

>original names, related to the history of the land
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amerigo_Vespucci
I guess he isn't historical or something

>should just be officially called "America" or "Colombia"
>other states are officially called "Bolivia" or "Argentina"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentina
>"Argentina, officially the "Argentine Republic""
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico
>"Mexico, officially the "United Mexican States""

>Honestly how can You be this retarded
No, how can YOU be this retarded

>sub-continets are continents now
woah
>case closed
If anything South Africa doesn't have a name either
should be called capeland or victoria or some meme like that desu

>>Australia
>Not a continent. Oceania is a continent.

Oceania is a region, Australia is a continent.

Well, they sort of are. Just like a subplot in a movie is still a plot. And for the purposes of the conversation it still applies given it's a broad geographic region that includes many countries besides the named one.

>I guess he isn't historical or something
But that's the name of the continent You massive retard. As i said at least 10 times. "The United States of America" is a fucking meaningless name. "America" already existed long before the country, they didn't name their country anything, they just called a union of states in the American continent "The United States of America" because they're unoriginal retards
>officially the Argentine Republic
woah
so it's officially called by it's name
woooooaaaahhhh

Mexico City also existed before Mexico the country. And the Isthmus of Panama existed long before the country of Panama.

>because they're unoriginal retards
America has produced lots of very innovative stuff.

>"America" already existed long before the country
The concept of "Italy" existed before "Italy" became a country.

The concept of "Germany" existed before "Germany" became a country.

The concept of "Russia" existed before "Russia" became a country.

The concept of "Spain" existed before "Spain" became a country.

>"Argentina" = "Argentine Republic"
>"America" =/= "United States of America"
Quit cherry picking.

>The concept of "Italy" existed before "Italy" became a country.
But Italy means Italy and only Italy

But "Italy" as a nation state is a modern invention and prior to unification included many areas that were totally distinct from one and other. Not unlike America.

I don't see what your point is.

>America is also the name for all of the continent so the name of the country is only valid if the country encapsulates the entirety of what is historically known as the American contients
What is
>Germany (doesn't own all of historical Germania)
>Russia (doesn't own all of historical Kievan Rus)
>Italy (doesn't own all of historical Italia)
>Sudan (doesn't own South Sudan)
>either Korea (doesn't own the other half)

>Quit cherry picking.
If it was called "American Republic" I wouldn't, that should be it's name anyways
Anonymous, I don't think You understand. While the country of Italy is only a modern invention, the name of Italy is unique to that region and that country, while "united states" is not unique and "america" is not unique

Point is, America is the name of the continent. Its like if a meme nation like belgium appeared out of stupid reasons in Europe and named themselves United States of Europe and forced others to call them Europe

It is unique to the region though. That region being the new world.

It would be if it occupied the whole continent.
Maybe it would be reasonable if it was called the United States of North America and included canada

It feels amazing that the very name of America can cause this much butthurt with spics, mapleniggers and yurotards.

change your name to "American Republic" and it's perfect
You can take the name America but drop "The United States" it's not like states have any rights anymore

Why isn't it reasonable?
Who's making up these naming rules?

This retard apparently

As with any rule, people just make it up by arguing and deciding on said rules

typical day in /gsg/ wew

The autism in this thread seems to be even greater than usual

People only discuss actual /gsg/ 40% of the time.

AFPguy, you around?
