Need some honest input/opinions here:
I have one spare Hector to use for DC, and I have two candidates in mind. Joshua and my recently pulled +SPD -HP Titania. Titania being given Distant Counter means she literally deletes ALL blues and all green mages with G Tomebreaker. She could continue to function in my horse team, or with DC she functions well outside of it as well. Joshua having DC means he will be rough in general for red mages/green mages to take down, considering he gets 33 res unbuffed. He has enough attack and a constant moonbow on counter attack. Him getting DC means he'll be forced to have Close defense as his seal, which will give him 36/33 enemy phase defense. Another plus of Joshua is his huge bst.

Subjectively 9 for an all-around best.
7 has some stronger character moments
8 has perhaps the best emotional payoff in the series
SD would be inspiring if not for the dull maps.
Echoes has the most potential for emotion to come through thanks to its amazing soundtrack and VA work.

My first H Nowi was -Atk +Def
2nd one is -Res +Def. Not ideal but way better than the first. I sorta needed two cause I didn't have Hone Fliers. Wew fucking lad

Vanessa is still pretty great, though. She makes a great Wyvern Rider or whatever the new one in SS is. It also has a skill that's basically Luna, so it kind of helps the shit str.

even gen 2 had a lot of really strong parts desu, like seeing arvis' fall from grace, seliph and his parents, everything related to travant
even as a classic "saving the world from evil empire" storyline i think it works a lot better than usually because you actually saw the world slowly going to shit in the first half

Other than that, I can't really give you much advice because their offspring were the only ones I used.

Also Ethyln should be paired with Cuan and Sigurd with Deirdre if you want the secret ending

Brave Bows hit twice per volley, and Titania's defense is not particularly amazing. Also probably helps with hitting through FrankenJakob's Wary Fighter.

This is patrician and expected and works well gameplay wise. Tailtiu x Lewyn let’s you have Forseti earlier which is really fucking nice and it comes on a horse on promotion too which is insane so that one is up to opinion.
