Even though the model is a little funky, the CONCEPT of what is going on Is incredible, and could work. If they fixed up the model, I would love to see what Adult Hat Kid story would be like.

I think theres a steam thread on it. Basically its like a kind of backstory for ahit, involving some kind of time war and mass genocide of an entire civilization because they had the power to end time.

The third floor of Vanessa's manor was cut because
A) They decided they didn't like the light mechanic B) Snatcher's role and the dynamic of Subcon in general changed drastically since early versions
As for why they didn't keep him 2D, they'd have to put a big ol' wall wherever they wanted him to appear, plus it would be hard to make a boss fight against him work.
