HET

Only if it's implemented by a capitalist, liberal democracy.

If by socialism you mean social democracies, it has already been tried and worked.

If by socialism you mean the soviet system, then it hasn't worked and never will.

If by socialism you mean worker control of the means of production, it hasn't been tried and may work.

The debate around socialism in Veeky Forums couldn't be more superficial, it's purely linguistic. It's just people using different definition talking past each other.

It's working right now in China.

Liberals BTFO

More like, will global capitalism be defeated.

*bridge made out of confetti and discarded condoms collapses on u*

May he live a thousand years comrades.

>putin is a socialist
>Russia and China are "anti-imperialists" and are fighting capitalism

modern communists are children

Only when we enter the Forever War a la 1984.

He isn't. Trust me

Only if it's National Socialism

>National Socialism
>>>Socialism

Yes.

Not on a nationwide scale.

>Socialism can only work in a vacuum

Wew

it was closer to socialism before the night of the long knives
Strasserism and such

Most concise and correct post in Veeky Forums

it's inevitable

>If by socialism you mean worker control of the means of production, it hasn't been tried and may work.

It has been tried, and it does work, as long as it's run for profit in a market.

The Mondragon Corporation is one of the largest worker co-ops in the world.

capitalism makes a better socialism than socialism

deal with it commietards

that's kinda what Marx said really

Though if you are going by pure realist standards keep in mind the USSR WAS a superpower.

>tfw the system that never works can take out most of the countries that does

marx literally said you need to have unrestrained capitalism to create communism

How will socialism deal with dysgenics?

how does any economic ideology?

Seriously, no positive eugenics, genetic engineering, and/or trans-humanism = you're fucked

It might work if automation vastly increases, but even then, its not like it'll work any better than a corporatist or distributist system.

Honestly, we've seen pretty good results from corporatism, and they work so well they often get called socialism as shown in with those "social democracies". Check out folkhemmet and social corporatism, it worked for Sweden and Norway from 1930-1970 fantastically.

If communism doesn't work then how do we resist globalist elites pooling all the wealth at the top? It's only going to get worse as non-renewable resources dwindle and economic growth slows.

Distributism and corporatism both solve that problem.

That's literally what Marx's theory is based on. Socialism isn't an alternative to capitalism m8

You realize all those societies failed?

They wouldn't have fallen if it wasn't for pressures imposed by the capitalist west.

>the control of a state or organization by large interest groupsand owning this tiny plot of dirty ass cheap land solves the problem
That is the opposite of true.

>thinking I'm talking about corporatocracy
>instead of fascist corporatism
I know that it has more than one definition, but let's be honest here, no one is advocating corporatocracy.

lmgtfy.com/?q=corporatism

>not knowing what corporatism is
>not knowing how to do a wikipedia search
>not doing any searching beyond a basic definition
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporatism#Fascist_corporatism
That there's your problem lad.

No because more then 90% people is shit

Okay, okay, the lmgtfy was rude. I apologize.

Seriously though, that's hardly a solution. Fascist governments are just as flawed if not more flawed than communist governments. Contracts get divied out as favors to maintain party loyalty and Both Italy and Germany under fascist regimes were defined by horribly industrial inefficiency.

Also fascist corporatism is still corporatism, small groups of people having a large say in how the government is run.

If you have an argument for why it is an ideal way of stopping the global accumulation of wealth among the elite the I'm willing to read.

I wasn't talking about fascism as a whole, just the corporatism. Check out folkhemmet and the social corporatism of the nordic countries. It worked fantastic for Sweden and Norway from 1930-1970.

>Socialists
When will they learn?
