Napoleonic Wars General

I need some great books/sources on the Napoleonic Wars. I've had this autism slow boiling since I was about 12 but now I have adult spending power I'm going to go nuts and acquire knowledge

I'll start the thread off with this interesting thing

I'm reading Clausewitz On War so that's one thing.

Then I'll move on to his commentaries on Napoleons campaigns.

>In late 1816 Baillot was repatriated and discharged as a consumptive.

what does "discharged as a consumptive" mean?

consumption is an old word for tuberculosis

Amazing painting. Any more Napoleonic war paintings?

Pretty much any biography on Napoleon is going to cover his military campaigns, and having just finished this one, I do recommend it. The author is kind of enamored with Napoleon, so it's important to keep that in mind while reading, but his style is both highly informative and entertaining, so it's just a generally good read.

No its the only one. Proper painting was only invented later
