Which one?
Kek, never seen this one
Only good turks are dead turks and since alot of turks got killed at Gallipoli i wouldnt call it a mistake.
balkanshits need to be banned from posting
Everyone hates you turks not just balkan people.
This guy makes the meme real.
I remember why i like Ataturk now.
As a Britbong who visited Gallipoli, the mythologising that Turks have engaged in is actually fucking hilarious.
They worship a minelaying ship because it trashed some of the Entente warships. They present the campaign as the founding of the Turkish nation where the legend Ataturk threw the British and French imperialists back into the sea and stopped Turkey becoming forever more a puppet of the West. The museum has propaganda videos in it and compares the campaign to the events of Homer saying it is the most important battle of the last century and the deciding battle of the Great War.
I've gotta say though it is still interesting being in a place where your own forces got defeated and seeing other people lording over you for it.
of course they do. Lesser people have always hated their superiors
I haven't read up on the turkish/ottoman reaction t it but as far as i can tell it really was a fucking tragedy, new zealand's normally pretty chill but seeing the crowd turnouts for anzac day is mental
Seriously, Turkish Gallipoli veterans have more respect for their former enemy than their shitposting grandkids
Tbf it was pretty much the only time during WW1 that T*rks didn't get their asses kicked so they trying to play it up as some great victory against western imperialism instead of stunning example of Churchill's incompetence.
>Turks are superior
kek
There is a reason your country was called the Sick man of Europe
Truly we are a degenerated group of people compared to their the men of that age.
Was there any military operation Churchill did not fuck up?
