>he doesn't even have a rice cooker
do you expect to make gains user?
get one of these things and use it.
He doesn't even have a rice cooker
Is it better than a simple pot?
yes
you don't have to tend to the rice cooker.
it's pressure sensitive and does a better job.
the pot could boil over and/or burn the rice.
The only thing a rice cooker offers over a simple pot is the ability to set and forget.
This only happens if you are a tard who can't cook rice.
It took weeks, but I mastered cooking rice. You fucking plebs
Truly makes life so much easier. I get a big bag of Nishiki delivered every month from Amazon and use a rice cooker.
>pressure sensitive
Not pressure. Heat. Water only gets to 100c before it evaporates. When the cooker senses the temp creeping higher than that it knows the water is all evaporated, and it goes into warm mode.
are you jay cutler or a stay at home son or something?
oh ok but my rice cooker wont start cooking unless I've got enough water in the pot
I live with my girlfriend. I cook rice better than her too.
>tfw steaming rice with a bear hand
FUCK RICE COOKERS
I'VE BEEN MAKING PERFECTLY COOKED RICE IN A CHEAP POT SINCE I WAS 14.
IT LITERALLY TAKES YOU 20 MINUTES TO COOK ENEOUGH RICE TO LAST YOU A WEEK!!!
Can't do it. Reminds me too much of the pajeet and banglas I have to share a kitchen with in college. Never getting close to one of those things again. The way they ate with their filthy hands....oh god
What's the secret?
Get your plebeian cooking appliances out of my face user. Instant pot or go home. I'm about to pull out a perfect roast with root vegetables, then make gravy in this thing. Oh, and it's going on top of the brown rice I made in here earlier.
>needing to buy a stupid gimmick appliance to do something you can easily do on the stove
do you have a panini press too?
there's no damn secret
just one part water to one part rice
high heat until water boils, then low heat for 10 minutes
SAUCE
a high test thread
Buy an instant pot you faggot
MY gf has one.
It was a present from me for her birthday.
>user keeping the bitch in the kitchen
nice
So... A pressure cooker
Does the rice come out all sticky and shit or is it one by one? I fucking hate rice when it's sticky or in lumps
>I have nothing better to do than watch a pot of rice cook
>rice cookers
>measuring water
>ratios
JUST fucking cook rice how you would cook any pasta
perfect every time
That is programmable and can steam rice, can slow cook stews, and can steam bake cheesecake. You can make fucking yogurt in this thing.
Or rice
Or a roast
Or cake
So yes, a pressue cooker
>JUST fucking cook rice how you would cook any pasta
LOL, no.
Try that with brown rice and you'll end up chewing on something like rocks.
Try that with most varieties of rice and you'll end up with it tough, undercooked, and probably undigestible.
You obviously don't know how to cook anything.
Either that or you have no taste at all.
>Try that with most varieties of rice and you'll end up with it tough, undercooked, and probably undigestible.
i do it almost every day
just keep and eye on it
the rice never gets harder as it cooks
>he just throws shit in a pot and relies on luck
LOL, fag
Just admit it: Your mom makes your food for you, probably tells you to stay out of the kitchen. Does she bring your chicken tendies to you in your basement lair?
>luck
I cook rice all the time and I never watch that shit.
terrorist detected.
> reaching this hard
Got a rice cooker in my room. Plebs can't get on my level
Enjoy your arsenic poisoning, ricefags
> every single food has some group claiming its poison for your body
> brb never eating again because everything might kilk me
or you could just say "it has a thermostat".
Except not every food has the federal government shitting itself over it, putting up all kinds of recent limits and regulations, recalling items containing rice and shutting farms down. Ironically, brown is the worst
>taking government regulators seriously on anything
> MY gf
as opposed to someone else's gf?
The government was slow to react on thjs, studies have shown for a long time how bad rice is in America. They're only now just saying you shouldn't give it to children and adults should limit their intake to a few portions a week. Stop trying to deny what I'm saying and research it
>eating food that your ancestors didn't eat
If you're white and eating rice you're not gonna make it.
