What this guy said, unless you're going to BUDS you won't have to swim (not significantly) in basic for any branch, but you will be running around quite a bit, especially in the marines.

Swimming takes totally different muscles and it just won't adequately prepare you like running will

Not here to get an estimate because I know what my bf% is already (it's 21%), just here to point out how delusional most of Veeky Forums is.

I did these electric scale things and got 16% and thought "that's fucking ridiculous, I'm like 25-30%, I'm getting this done accurately", and got a doctor to do it with calipers. 21%, titties and all. I guess my lbm must be very high or something.

But anyway, when I see replies to saying 19 or 20%, I'm just curious where you idiots learnt to eyeball bodyfat, because you really suck at it.

it's because you have no muscle mass, if you bulk up now you will hover around the same bf % but crucially you will have gained the ability to lose more fat next time you cut than you could have this time (sacrificing muscle to fat at 1:2). RN you are 2 perfect bulk-then-cut cycles away from making it ~ 1.5 years.
