just learn moderation. i grab a slice of pizza every other day while i'm at school bc it fits my macros. i'm cutting it out now just because it's too pricy for me to come to terms with. i find this is the best to overcome your food addiction. normalize eating all type of foods, including junk shit, just to become comfortable and ready to reject or accept something. i can go months without eating junk food but i learned how to keep it within reason. my macros and calories come first.

Depends on goals. I'm not as shredded as I'd like to be but I can see all my abs despite getting way too much carbs from beer quite frequently. That is definitely due to years of regular heavy lifting.
