You miss my point. The point is that the average person isn't going to radically change their diet and most likely cut out their favorite foods because of cruel videos from the meat industry. People simply don't give enough fucks and will rationalize that their source of meat probably isn't THAT bad.

If you actually want people to be vegan, you need to give them appealing alternatives that make real meat obsolete because people simply don't crave it any longer. No amount of "muh morals and feelings" is going to convert a significant part of society.

Almost every world culture has meat eating as a staple of cuisine. Sure getting rid of junk food like chicken nuggets would be good but you're never getting rid of Korean BBQ, Wurst, Sunday Roasts, Chorizo etc.
