I have a cheat meal once a month, or when coworkers want to go to the McBurger.

My cheat meal is not really cheating though. It's always a chicken burger (not too large) and a diet coke.

No regarts after, and I still ate chicken which is not so bad.

So read on this board that Subway is horrible if you try to cut. That their info on calories on the "lean" sandwiches is bull. I thought I could get away with eating a turkey breast sub with little to no toppings every once in a while, as long as I fit it into my macros, but now I'm thinking that would be shooting myself in the dick.

You can definitely cheat every once in a while if you don't binge on calories. The key is to not fall into the trap of junk food as a "reward" that you earn by eating clean. It's all good. Just make good choices as much as you can, and when something tasty comes up, eat a small amount and savor it.

Its called cut for a reason, stop failing all the time you guys...You wont make it.

We order breakfast every Saturday over time shift so I never hold back. My maintenance is about 3200kcal so as long as I don't go over that one a week I'm happy with myself.

I just did once a week and just lessened how much I ate each time until it became more of a cheat meal/hour. I've been vonsistebtly losing weight since early this year so, at least for me, it's been motivating. Really helps me keep strict during the week too. Also helps teach self discipline and learning to eat in moderation.
