How does one convince his friends to start lifting?
I kind of find it pleasing to look at a group of young fit men and I kind if want my friends and I to form a group like that, but I'm the only one lifting among us. What should I tell them to convince them to start lifting?
Kind of. I know women are impressed by this kind of stuff.

You can't and shouldn't bother to convince anyone to start lifting. You can equip them with a routine, a gym membership and all the support in the world, but it won't matter. They WILL quit and make excuses. A person who wants to get better will do it on their own. If you want gym buddies, make them with people who are already disciplined enough to go to the gym every day.

It's gayer than porn. They're Abercrombie & Fitch models.
Jeremiah Brooks
Didn't mean to quote the second dude
Zachary Miller
The thing is, I don't go to the gym. I already have one at home. Where am I supposed to make gym friends?
Austin James
Don't try
To them you'll sound like that annoying vegan who wants to convince you to give up on meat
Gabriel Anderson
those are some fine lads
Mason Robinson
are your friends lazy sacks of shit in general or are they nerds that prize their intellect? because how could someone be smart if they are not trying to be physically fit
Henry Campbell
>are your friends lazy sacks of shit in general or are they nerds that prize their intellect? The former, I'm afraid.
Julian Fisher
ask your mom/ dad lol
James Allen
Don't do it. If everyone of your friends is fit, no one is. But if you are the only who lift, you will be the one standing out for being the muscular and aesthetic
wrong, I feel op on this one, being the only fit guy when me and my friends go to the beach or whatever feels like you're an autist who can't make sickunt friends like yourself, also my insecurities though
Kevin Parker
>I could be a model huh
Xavier Watson
Nah, it just makes you look weird. Better if everyone is aiming for a higher level of fitness but you’re already there. Riding alongside guys with a defeatist attitude of ‘I don’t need to try, gym is dumb, muscles are useless’ is worse.
Grayson Sanchez
ask people if they want to get a gym membership with you
Nathaniel Brooks
You need to go to the gym with them, making it easier to start and also giving some good advise and fast noobgains will motivate them.
