How would you Age of Sigmarify Warhammer 40k?

How would you Age of Sigmarify Warhammer 40k?

...

Turn it into a rank-and-file tactical game where movement is the most important phase, units must be in regiment trays, psykers must do psychic battle with each other using a magic pool and using spell books. Essentially make it into Warhammer Fantasy

Squat over it
squeeze out a huge stinky shit
set the whole thing on fire
bam, AoS: 40k Edition.

Oh shit I said Squat, I didn't mean it I swea

It's simple. We kill the Emperor.

kick it in its piss and take the winds out of its sails.

Remove Slaanesh. Make Khorne the only Chaos God. Remove the Imperial Guard. Amalgamate all the Eldar. Merge the Tyranids and Orks as one faction.

That would be a start.

Improve the lore by destroying everything and turning the universe into a cosmic bubble bath.

Only 1 chapter of space marines only they all decided to be one giant faction

Only Cadains/scions all other IG regiments died

Sister of Battle Canoness gains a special ability based on the size of player's tits.

So fat manchildren would be the main SoB Players?

Fucking competitive fags ruling hobbies....

...

>Make Khorne the only Chaos God
>Remove the Imperial Guard
The scary part is they've pretty much already done these two things alone.

By placing my life savings short on GW shares.

Watch out, we got a true marketing/sales genious over here.

1. Chaos invades and destroys the galaxy, killing everyone
2. A small portion of the webway survives and grows into a freaky virtual universe that looks mainly like Tron
3. The ghost of Marneus Calgar survived because of Reasons and forms a new faction of automatons who look exactly like spess mehreens and are called StarBattlers, ably assisted by a lesser faction of ordinary people called Gruntdudes
4. Eldar are reformed in the new virtual reality as Spaceghosts, and they all have magic teleportation powers
5. All other factions are called into existence through the imagination of a Spaceghost Seer. They all have stupid new names and are slightly different, eg Nids are actually made of virtual nanobots and Orks breathe fire
6. Chaos is Chaos
7. All the factions fight eternally across the Tron landscape, respawning when killed at special respawn points

>They all have stupid new names
this will be the most important part to GW.

I'd turn it into Bolt Action

I would import the multiple profiles for monstrous creatures based on remaining wounds thing. and points costs for formations

Make it more similiar to older editions needing less miniatures?

Bolt action is already pretty much 40k though.
Turn it into something totally different like rapid fire

>tfw 99% of people don't understand the squat/candlejack reference anym

1. All Space Marines chapters are amalgamated into the Ultramarines.

2. Tempestus, Skitarii, Mechanicus, etc are rolled back into "Astra Militarum" alongside the Guard.

3. Sisters of Battle merge with the Space Marines.

4. Slaanesh and the DEldar are retconed out of the setting bc neurotoxin orgys aren't appropriate for the target market of 12-17 year olds.

5. Eldar Craftworlds merge into something like a big fleet and lose individual identity.

6. CSM are massively consolidated and all/most worship Khorne.

7. Astra Militarum are all Cadians now, with auxiliary troops from Skitarii, etc.

8. The Tau become straight up morally superior to the Imperium in every way. Their technology is also better.

9. Ciaphas Cain, Gaunt, Tidus, most of the Primarchs and a bunch of other fan favourite characters are either killed off, retconned out, or retroactively altered into generic Roboute Guilliman/Angron clones.

To be fair, candlejack is very ol

What is going on? What does mentioning Candlejack have to do with not finishing your po

>le ebins candlejack maymay
If I had my way, I'd have all of you shot.

you forgot

>remove all chapters except the ultramarines

The better question is why.

>In Age of Spess Muhreems, there are NO POINT LIMITS!

>In Age of Spess Muhreems, rules are simplified ! Merely THROW YOUR MODELS AT YOUR OPONENT'S TO WIN!

>In Age of Spess Muhreems, you can now use the licensed dice to THROWN THEM AT THE OPOSING PLAYER! IF HE GIVES UP , YOU WIN!

>In Age of Spess Muhreems, if you play Space Marines, YOU WIN!

This is terrifyingly accurate

THIS

HOLY SHIT THIS

AOS IS A FUCKING VIDEOGAME IN MINIATURE FORM

ITS A FUCKING DOTA 2 IN FUCKING MINIATURE FORM

Change it from a wargame to a strategy game of initiative control; essentially a race for the most 3 ups.

Everyone ends up having the BEST TIME EVER.

...

You nailed it even to the name of the game

...

arent they already?

Fundamentally, Age of Sigmar is defined by Spess Mahreening the game. In this respect, I would change nothing -- WH40k's defining trait is everyone is Space Marines already.

GW Creative Director confirmed for posting here

Loving every laugh

My problem with parody mangas is I never know if I should read left-right or right-left because I don't know how much is parody and how much is weeb.

It's not bait if it's the inevitable future of the franchise. Which it pretty clearly is.

Don't ever come to Veeky Forums ever again, Kirby

i regret everthi

Emperor turns out to be the laughing god, eldar/imperium/tau/guardsmen alliance squares off against chaos/tyranid/necron alliance led by an ork warboss.

Start with a end times series:
>Book 1: Cadia
As the Golden Throne falters, Chaos begins the End Times Crusade, and the Eldar call for Rhana Dhandra. The 13th Black Crusade is finally called for, and the Imperium scrambles to prepare its defenses. This book is centered on the Battle for Cadia, and has a Imperium VS Chaos theme. Trillions of Guardsmen, Scions, Sororitas, Skitarii and Marines stand defiant, as the biggest Black Crusade ever formed will soon lay siege to the planet of Cadia. Even worse, the chaotic Energy if the EoT has been boosted to insane new levels, as Abbadon calls upon all the servants of Chaos to finally destroy the imperium. And to make matters worse, as the Chaos fleets are but a day away, the Astronomicon fades in its entirety in the Cadian Gate. The forces now stationed there would recieve no help nor reinenforcements. The last Astropath message sent from the High Lords is simply: Hold the line. And the Imperials intend to do so.
Notable events include:
>allude that Chaos' boost in strength is the direct result of the Old World being destroyed

>As the Chaos forces overwhelm the planet, the remaining forces of the Imperial Guard stand together for one final stand to halt the enemy advance to the capital, and allow the Elite units such as Marines, Scions and Sisters to regroup. Kriegers stand by Catachans, Valhallen by Vostroyans, Steel Legion by Cadians, Moridans by Tanith, Tallarn by Last Chancers, as at least one of every guard regiment in the Galaxy fights side by side, but with none other than the legendary Ciaphas Cain. The brave men and women of the guard, all too mortal, face an endless tide of demons and heretics. Yet their faiths burns so brightly in the warp, the Daemonic hordes are scoured away by the sheer strength of their united belief. The battle lasts for six months uninterrupted, and despite all Imperial Regiments being killed to a man, the Guard successfully allows for the Imperium to prepare its defences

Cont.
>The Iron Hands directly engaging the Emperor's children on the battlefield, with Fulgrim himself leading the charge. Despite him charming all those who see him into corruption, the Iron Hand's are unaffected, and thus meet them in combat with a Cohort of Grey Knights. It ends with the Iron Hands Chapter Master(named Smaesh Fukar) ironically beheading Fulgrim, and trapping him within a tesseract Vault, at the cost of the Iron Hands being reduced to nigh extinction.
>As Abbadon assaults the Primary of the planet, Creed pulls his ace Card and transforms the hive into a huge, colossal tank from the DoaT. It is the last of its kind, and is revealed to be the premier Heavy Tank of the DaoT. Although, in order to lure Abbadon into its firing range, Creed sacrifices himself as bait. He dies upon Abbadon's blade, and Abbadon himself is only saved by the meddling of Be'lakor, but only just, for it will take far too long for Abbadon to heal, and by that time the battle will be over.
>To make matters worse, the epic war for Cadia, and the strain on the Null Wards, eventually awakens the Tomb World hidden below Cadia, throwing the Necrons into the fight.

However, the book ends with the unthinkable; In his fury, and despite the Eldars best efforts, Abbadon captures and commands all of the Talismans of Vaul to fire upon Cadia. And in a instant, the planet of Cadia is vaporized, taking with it a good deal of the Mortal forces of Chaos, and the last few imperial strong holds.

Releases would include:
>Combined Corps:
A list that would let you combine and play all Guard armies together as one force, along with adding Regimental tactics.
>Plastic Guard Minis:
Catachan, Steel Legion, and Vostroyans all recieve a plastic kit.
>Chaos Minis:
Chaos gets a new lost and Damned kit, along with Codex: Lost and the Damned. It is mostly a mirror of the guard book, but with CSM and Daemons as Elite Choices, but with similiar access to Tanks.
>Mega Kit:
The DaoT tank

cool

I'm making a candlejack post in response to you just to make you r

However, with the destruction of the Cadian gate, for a moment, all war across the galaxy ceases, as the myriad races all look to the sky; And see the Eye Of Terror reach out like a Cancer, and spread towards holy Terra itself. Next, after that, we turn to Book 2: Armageddon.

I would play this. The only thing I don't like about it are the really dumb names.

You hear that, GW? I don't currently play 40k but I would spend money on this! But only if it 100% completely supplants 40k though, and gets all the support 40k would have gotten, with the entire original universe going the way of the Squat, no licensed RPGs in the original universe, or anything, and a complete refusal to even acknowledge the original game more than a month or two after the switch!

The only part I'm joking about is needing it to replace 40k in order for me to buy it; I don't give a shit if it does or not. The original 40k universe is shit.
