/mrg/ magical realm general?

Can we have a containment thread for cheesecake art and lewd discussion?

This is NOT an erp meetup thread, that was banished to /soc/ for a reason. Nor is this a thread for actual porn, you can find that in /aco/. I'm just proposing a thread for discussing things that are only slightly lewd.

What is the point of the outfit on the left.

Is her bellybutton cold?

>What is the point of the outfit on the left.
...We'll tell you when you're older.

it its an outfit meant for people with 4 legs, she is just a wanna be centaur

Patterns in the lace form a magic circle above her Navel Chakra. giving her a bonus to casting.

I find what the goblins are wearing stranger. That thing that is strapped around their belly.

Prudemod will prune soon

rip in peppers friend-O PredO

Looks like we need some REAL goblins in here.

I feel like those might be Orc kids.

This makes a hilarious amount of sense

No. /d/egenerates enjoy shitting up Veeky Forums with lewd threads and watching prudes go bananas. It's the reason they post again and again.

As if Veeky Forums and /d/ aren't secretly the same board.

But what if I just want casually lewd content, but don't want to bother anybody about it|

What's the difference between goblins and orc kids anyways?

I'm okay with this.

>sexy girls are /d/ now

The trips speak truth.

Brace yourselves, the mods are coming!

>that was banished to /soc/ for a reason.
whims != reasons

Let them come

Hahaha, not for a while now.

What I mean is, the /erpg/ had devolved into a cybersex meetup thread for people too dumb to use f-list or irc. That shit wasn't Veeky Forums related and I don't want this thread to turn into that.

Does this count as Magical Realm?

Everything counts as somebody's magical realm user.

Seashell bras make no sense.

Now fishnet tops...

Veeky Forums hasn't been like that for a long time m80

But to the point, yes it is magical realm.

Devolving female warriors to visual fetish pieces is clearly a matter of someone's fetish. Just hope their fetish isn't gore, because that is what that situation is probably leading to.

Excuse me miss, I can see your bra and panties.

>ban gamefinders
no.

>secretly

Is this the user-kun "raid"?

I approve, considering Veeky Forums usual contrarian behaviour, we'll probably end discussing socioeconomics in relation to mermaids' seashell bras.

Maybe she has blemmye ancestors?

Those women are just as armored as most warriors from the time period their gear is inspired by. The only difference is that they wear less fabric.

The artist has drawn gore, but it's not really the focus.

Glad we got rid of quests so we'd have more space for you guys. :>

Sage and hide.

I'm glad too. Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow!

What a nice guy.

Historical pikemen For Comparison. Full armor was a rarity for most of history. It's rarely worth it to cover your whole body with metal.

Do you prefer your magical realm rapey or non-rapey?

This could be a perfectly reasonable armor for a society with Renaissance level technology, provided they didn't have Judaeo christian nudity taboos.

>tfw literally encouraging questfags who weren't into magical realm stuff to post just for the sake of it
>mfw they do

...

...

>Magical Realm General
No, you fucking idiot. I could tolerate a cheesecake character art thread, but this has no purpose. By using the term "magical realm", your only inviting cancer. You know what "magical realm" means right?

Chill dude, There is nothing wrong with self deprecating humor.

Rapey.

>that two souls in one body background
>not using it for a genderswitch plot
There's no being turned into a sex slave like a former male being turned into a sex slave.

Generally used to refer to GMs implanting their fetishes into a campaign setting or scenario so that players are forced to experience the content while the GM enjoys it for fetish purposes.

Honestly, that isn't too different from a cheesecake art thread, which is just fuel for magical realm.

She's gonna get stabbed, how is she walking around like that?

Oh, cool than, mind if I start posting my magical realm than?

Here's some character art I used for a Eclipse phase game I played once.

You're cruising for a global ban.

But whatever. That isn't even magical realm for most ttrpg.

What's the explanation for female warriors wearing lingerie below the waist and men wearing pants?

Women didn't wear pants until recently.

It's magical and that there's invisible armor right under the lingerie that covers the areas that are exposed by some invisible metal.

What's his backstory?

I mean, its not really porn or anything. Cant you take a little self depricating humor?

I mean, you go a little further back from there and men also didn't wear pants.

Why not battle skirts?

Men can fight with two swords at once

You people will whine and whine until Veeky Forums is nothing more than an empty husk.
We got rid of the WE smut, and quality hasn't improved. We got rid of quests, and quality hasn't improved. Next time we'll get rid of generals, and quality won't change one bit. And in a few years what will be left? Army lists ratings? That surely can sustain a board...
Create a thread with good content instead of bitching about the bad ones, if you really want to save Veeky Forums.

Sorry, deleted and reposted due to atrocious grammar and syntax.
Here

Author's fetish.

Honestly, isn't like Europe kinda cold a lot of the time?

Wearing something on your legs to keep you warm would be nice.

I was just reminding you of the rules. Your posts are your own, user. Let your freak flag fly.

Depends on setting

Again, she's wearing exactly as much armor as the majority of warriors thorough history. The only difference is less unarmored fabric.

Different cultures have different ideas of what constitutes appropriate clothing.

It's that way if you make it that way.

>men are inexplicably normal dressed

This triggers the autism

That's lame! It isn't a magical realm unless it goes out of the way to explain it as legit within the culture with some basis in their history.

Make something up user! Do it! Why aren't the women wearing pants, tell us!

The quality has improved since smut threads are gone.

Probably the artist isn't as comfortable drawing male legs.

I mean -I- would have everyone going pants-less, but some people are disgustingly heterosexual.

>The only difference is less unarmored fabric.
And she's gonna get stabbed for her efforts.
Because they've been trained for war and need to learn how to fight better with little bit of amour to survive.

How the fuck do you measure quality in a way that isn't corrupted by human memory/want?

Yes but they still wore something over their legs just like men. Why would there be a difference in how covering things are between the genders?

But why would it be appropriate for men to cover their legs and women not?

Basically this

I want to make a biologically/evolutionary plausible mermaid species for my setting, but with that restriction it's pretty unlikely that they'll look very attractive by human conventions. I also struggle to come up with excuses for them being disproportionally female, or being able to breed with humans.

Should I just drop these elements for my main setting and only enable them if someone wants to run a campaign that features magic, or can anyone come up with at least barely hypothetically possible evolutionary mechanisms to justify these things?

Also, what kind of hair do you need to have for it to not dry out and become terrible if submerged in saltwater all the time?

How do you? You made the first claim about the quality of this board.

>Taking a soul out of its body just to put it back in another body.
Pleb.

Isn't it obvious? She doesn't want to appear a total slut, thats what its there for. See, in many cultures, showing your belly is considered absurdly slutty, and she ain't one of them, got that?

Not gonna lie, the girls from this series are crazy cute.

>It isn't a magical realm unless it goes out of the way to explain it as legit within the culture with some basis in their history.
An Adam and Eve type original sin. Woman ate the apple and her punishment is no pants.
or Misbehaving women get smacked or canned on the buttocks or inner thighs, so those places need to be exposed to remind them that they're subject to punishment from men.

What magical realm enough for you?

Yes, I can fap to that, thank you.

So, since various kinds of transformations seems to have a crowd on /d/, this must be the right place to ask.
We usually see a lot of body modification, corruption and loss of humanity in sci-fi settings, especially cyberpunk with cyborgs and cyberzombies, but not in fantasy. Why is that so?
Magic should provide the opportunity. Is it because magical corruption works better as a purely mental process (quest for power or faustian deals)? Is it because the two crowds have different expectations? How can a fantasy game focused on change and decay of its characters work? The only example I can think of is Ghibli's Princess Mononoke with the demon arm and berserk wounded spirits.

As much as I loathed the smut threads and think people should jerk off before going on Veeky Forums, I haven't noticed it.

Different user bro.

You can mix the two idea. Male and female twins, female twin is injured, male twin's soul is transferred to her body so his life force can sustain her, but in the process her soul is repressed and he's left in control.

What is a vampire?

Which one did you like? Elaborate on it please. What twists would you give it or what scenarios would you fap to?

Wow, why all the qualifications? Anyone who's even looked in pretty much any rpg book ever knows that cheesecake and roleplaying have always gone hand in hand. This is sufficiently self-evident to anyone who plays that I really don't see the need for qualifiers. I'd go so far as to say that anyone who questions its rightness does not in fact have the breadth of Veeky Forums-related experience to pass comment.

Screw you. With the smut threads gone, this board is just character art and one general for me. So sad.

As for transformation, I think it just doesn't fit into noble settings for the reasons you described.

Warhammer has transformation and corruption as a central aspect in fantasy. But Tolkien stuff keeps that light, so stuff like DnD is light onnit as well.

I would agree it probably has to do with corruption either being absolute, or an internal struggle. Either the being is fighting it and trying not to become an evil sorcerer or mad king, or they've gone full gollum.

a) fantasy has a lot of other things it can do, while futuristic settings need to feel somewhat real and body moding is feels like it could be on its way
b) magic can do anything, so why would it do those things specifically when it can just snap its fingers and do whatever the body moding was for? that is, no need for implants, just call it an enchantment. while for fururistic equivalents, you expect implants to be needed.
