Wash-painting is really terribly effective and fast for Infinity minis. I think a lot of people could get better results with it than from older, 40k-derived 'wash/drybrush over black' methods based on the way Infinity minis are designed.

Not enough. It's all firefighting at this point. Probably they have to wait for the next rulebook, buff Multi HMGs (maybe 2nd ed rangebands for tag guns), tack some new rule onto ECM gear - maybe letting it frazzle remotes or have some comms-disruption effect on command tokens, and give them a rule to walkaway from CC in the active turn to stop ridiculous tarpitting with junk droptroopers. Or let them deal impact damage by running over the top of shit with low structure.

Yeah, having your expensive mecha tarpitted by cheap warband unit us always "fun". Even with CC oriented TAGs I always seem to need ridiculous amount of orders to dislodge them. They ciould reintroduce overrun (or what it was called) from last edition, with some changes to make it worthwhile. Like Entire order, you move your first movement value, troops falling under and not dodging get single PH damage hit, can be declared in CC.

I'm new to Haqqislam and remember there being mixed response to the models in the box. Not too many liked the look of it. Started Haqqislam due to red veil and I think I like the unit well enough for the HMG or Shock Marksman Rifle, if I go sectorial I'd do QK but otherwise I think I'll stick to a generic army for the foreseeable future. I want to stick to the modern standard though so I don't think I'll buy any of the outdated blisters.

I do agree the HMG is the worst Djanbazan of the lot (It's the bare arms that get me the most) so I was thinking possibly getting the Shock Marksman Rifle one which I tolerate more and saying its the HMG. The new box isn't horrifying, but they're not the "Wow, nice models! I should get a whole box of them" type like I find the Ghazi Muttawi'ah or Haramaki.

Mainly, the issue with Corregidor is I'll need to lower my points to 200 unless my friend gets some more minis for his PanO or wants to proxy some from Ariadna or Yu Jing, which my other friend is getting soon. Anyone have any suggestions on what to cut out? Or which list I should go for first?

I'm not an Infinity player but I've been eyeing a few PanOceana models to use as proxies in other 30mm games.

My biggest question is about the slot bases- do you think trimming off the "wedge" between the feet would reduce stability to much? Maybe pin the feet in addition to glue?

The tab is a good thing. Infinity models have very fine proportions and infantry can be hard to pin.

I remove a good bit of the tab, but I keep the material right below the feet to provide stability. I'ts usually enough and it makes the base look neater overall.

It's a noticeably different weapon, no longer just a rifle with scope and suppressor.

In a game with regular proxying of everything, nobody cares if one of your rifles looks a bit different. Cut it by the front sight. Nobody is going to mistake it for anything but a rifle, and you can just blame it on looting anyway. Else you're wasting that sweet tailed jacket.

How'd you get that effect?
I tried the same with my Scyrah. I found it was far easier to to a fairly light/lemony yellow layering up from a light brown, with a tiny highlight of really shiny gold. You get the effect without the bother.

Do Jammers take CH into account as a mod?

I think the bonus should not be taken into account, as optic camouflage means little against a weapon that can effortlessly shoot through solid walls and does not require line of sight. Btw google is your friend:
