He has good intentions. Unfortunately every choice he's made ends up screwing things up further.

for a Revenant Paladin/Warlock
What do you mean by "theme song"?
A song that could be about/inspired the creation of the character?
A song their minstrels might sing for them like Sir Robin?
A song that would be like their boss music in a vidya game?
all of the above
I've got some songs I play to get in the mindset for certain characters, i guess that counts?
Sylvia "Sylph" Lundstrom - Infiltration Decker [Shadowrun 4E]

DM primarily, but this is the theme song of one of my villains. youtube.com
Cynical human archivist who basically manipulated the largest church in the setting into an omnicidal holy war to starve the gods of the worship and sacrifices that keep them alive, "freeing" the material plane of the gods' influence.

Shithead lords son who went out to become and adventurer and earn glory. He has been nothing but a terrible, manipulative dick... and it always bites him in the ass.
He recently learned the concept of 'karma' from a passing monk. His response was that the world couldn't possibly be so unfair as to run on such a bullshit system.
>Dark Country

>Necromancer that eats souls/merges with souls to make them "one", rather than calling spirits or whatever to reanimate corpses uses shards of their own soul as energy. They are effectively a massive gestalt of souls at this point.
Rather than looking like Nito or some other skellington monster he looks more like a fucking hueg '7 Egyptian-themed Ordinator.

I don't think there's any I can think of that'd fit something as unashamedly turboedgy as this unless minstrels can do an acoustic Crawling by Linkin Park
>Boss fight
Conveniently enough there's actually an orchestral version of that one song and it's p gud for it, however I think this one fits a bit better.

Ignore the gay video, this is, like, the only instance of the song by itself on youtube
Wee female Goblin monk who's martial art revolves around setting up Longshanks for a devastating punch to the groin
Honestly applies to both my characters in different ways.
>Frozen skeleton whose only interests are making all of the puns, punching things that look like they need to be punched (most things), and keeping the party's beverages cooled
Please forgive me

fucking hell do I love the naaco sound team. still one of my GOAT games and without a shred of doubt my favourite soundtrack
Prodigal artificer with functioning autism and a superiority complex that would put Lex Luthor to shame. Eschews human interaction and basically looks down on everyone ever with an air of unassailable arrogance.
Currently bleeding out in a gutter after having all her plans for control smashed to bits by the folk she stepped on to obtain her position of power, along with some local adventurers who didn't take too kindly to her massively unethical experiments into consciousness and arcane potential.
It was only when her entire powerbase collapsed beneath her, and all her allies turned on her, and she realised that all her agents were actually everybody else's agents, that she discovered that she really wasn't as good at reading people as she thought she was, and that you cannot outsmart a knife to the gut.
Harken to my song, The Ballad of the Minmaxed Wizard

He's basically a Khornate berserker who falls under lawful evil from my DnD campaign.
>mfw playing a bard/necromancer type
>mfw he's patriot
...
Fire-breathing young gun sorcerer, thinks he's hot shit but he's arguably not even the strongest character in the party. Is also supposed to be the party face but with Intimidate and Bluff skills of 13 and a Diplomacy of 4, either comes off as a bully or a total pussy.
Thumbs up
I really like this
on another note I love music, writing, and rp but I've never actually linked a song to any of my characters? How do you guys do that? Do you search for a song or does the inspiration just strike you?
It's usually a case of either
>Making a character
>Hear a song that fits so stick with it
or
>Hear a song
>Make a character loosely based around it
>Fallout sniper thats lost everyone and everything hes held close
>Sticks to the party because he wants to keep them as safe as he can
curse-based male witch/warlock

Different people have different ways of thinking this stuff up.
The method I use is that I just draw from my pool of what I've listened to, and think of whether or not that fits the soul of the character.
There'll always be something that MORE fits the character, and the beauty of the internet is that you can always try to find that better fitting track.
Based song. I was just thinking of Light up the Night for one of my guys , or the campaign in general youtube.com

The character is a wandering gunslinger, trying to undo the wrongs of his past and make the world a better place. The latter is at the request of his daughter's ghost--which often includes helping other spirits find peace or putting down those who can't be saved--and the former is something he hopes to get out of the situation before his efforts catch up with him and he can see his family again. The character doesn't behave nearly as mopey or edgy as his backstory makes him seem, I swear.
