AoS's lore is the deepest there ever was. Look at the Stormcast society and tell me that isn't a high point.
City of Secrets has a good setting which makes the Realms interesting, and Shadows over Hammerhal has some good worlbuilding too.
Too bad there's not a big book with all that.
It's like AoS lore has an identity crisis. To me it seems like its stuck between the dark fantasy of WHFB and going full out esoteric Kirkbride. Honestly I would invest in the game if they made up their mind instead of trying to be MTG
