That's a big Marine.

Second for Lorgar did nothing wrong
>neither did Erebus

No summary user? Sad thread

Third for getting triggered by red and green.

...

for (you)

>trusting reports of Alpharius' death
>from the legion that specializes in misinfornation and falseflagging

Did we finally get rid of awooo-posters?

...

Was getting trips part of your plan?

Well, gotta keep up appearance

Degenerate furfag

Tzeentch pls go.

When an option is only available if your army meets certain points level (example: 2000pts or more), does it mean that your army has to be that size BEFORE taking said option (example: 2000pts army + 100pts option) or TOTAL including option's cost has to be that size (example: 1900pts army + 100pts option) ?

...

>white text on light grey background
Why.

If your army totals 2000 points, and something cannot be greater than 25% of your points, you can take it. Therefore, i would say you could take it with the second option you mentioned

>TOTAL including option's cost has to be that size (example: 1900pts army + 100pts option)

Of course!

is a knight acheron a cunty thing to take at 3k?

Do you expect to fight Raven Guard/Night Lords much? They'll struggle, most other legions will be fine

What would be the best "Questoris/GW" Knight in HH environment?

at 3k you get primarchs, typons and other nonsense, so sure go for it

definitely raven guard, but not too many people are running a lot of vehicles around me yet, its a fairly young meta
its a fairly long way away for me to be planning it anyways, still have an IH legion force to finish first, so i imagine things will normalize a bit more

The paladen with the questoris battle cannon, though it depends on your meta

I use the Paladin with the three-shot battle cannon to great effect, since it basically allows me to remove a unit of marines per turn. If you expect to be facing units with apothecaries, stick with the regular one.

Errant is only ever better if you expect to run into massed terminators, especially so if they're 2w.

Gallant loses shooting for an extra attack, not worth it.

Wardens kinda alright, but i prefer the Paladin for my ap3 needs, since you'll average about 8 hits with the gatling whereas 3 large blasts will annihilate units, even if you only get five hits per blast thats still gonna kill more

The Crusader is shootier but more expensive and loses melee D, which i find too good to do without. Plus, if you play at 3k, for like 300 points more you can bring a warhound and be king shit.

Any comments on Knight's shoulder(?) weapons? Or are they too expensive for its performance?

A skyfire autocannon should have its roles covered by the rest of your list, in dedicated ani-air or air superiority. The blasts are essentially ap- in the heresy, i.e. pretty suboptimal. They're cool though

If I pull that off, will he die?

Finished up my Ixion Hale. Gonna use him as Valdor until the model for him comes out and/or Hale gets his own rules.

That'sh a nich cushtodesh.

>mfw the cheapest locally costs €110 on ebay

He's a recast. I'm not paying that for a single 40mm model.

Chinaman has em for 35, including the ones on ebay

why not just use the mohawk head on a guardian? Just throw some blind on the spear and you're golden.

Enough gems to be Eldar/10

That's nice, but I'd rather not play him than use a recast. Not begrudging anyone who does, but I don't want that.

> 10pts Artificer armor
> Even Legion Puppy Squad doge Sarge can wear it
> Some 'Master of the Legion' cannot

What the fuck is wrong with them

Because they are silly people.
Some praetor-level chucklefucks bring powerarmor and fucking chainswords, after all.

So why did the heresy matter with the size of the imperium? A few hundred thousand traitor marines means less than one traitor marine per planet.

Oh, because I wanted Ixion Hale, and my second model I bought of him was used to make a Tribune for some Warders of The Gates Of Rhython.

It's really up to you, but this is the most realistic way to buy a limited single day release model that's normall over $120 on Ebay.

Because the traitors don't need to conquer every planet, they just need to take Terra and kill the Emperor (inadvertantly letting chaos into the heart of the imperium also with the webway gate). Same with gathering storm.

Why would matter that half the army of your country rebelled if they are no more than a 1% of the total population?

I think I prefer the Schism of Mars to the Horus Heresy, I like how it was handled better as an actual civil war instead of lmao daemons

>lmao scrapcode

Create /SoMG/ and tell us how that goes user. Good luck

I'd post in it.

In this case, space marines are 0.00000001% of the population and are outnumbered by the army a billion to one.

I would but 00101111 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100111 00101111 doesn't sound that catchy

01001001 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01101011 00100000 01101001 01110100 00100000 01110011 01101111 01110101 01101110 01100100 01110011 00100000 01110000 01110010 01100101 01110100 01110100 01111001 00100000 01100011 01100001 01110100 01100011 01101000 01111001 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101111 01110101 01100111 01101000 00101110

So I tallied together my entire Custodes collection thus far, and if I milk it for almost every upgrade I hit exactly 3500 points.

Is this list decent in the slightest? If I drop Armored Ceramite and Melta Bombs everywhere I drop to 3200 points.

Is Command Rhino worth the point?

no

Depends on the amount of units you put in reserves.

Many : yes
None : no

If you rely on reserves and deep strikes, yes. If you face the full Coils army, you may as well suicide-ram it into a melta squad on first turn.

mirandairene.com/products/new-product/leman-russ-primarch-of-the-space-wolves-1840.html

Is this legit lads. Will it actually come? Will I get sued by gw (I live in U.K.). Will it be fucking awful quality?

hahahaha... the GW police will get you. What a fucking moron

The GW police won't get you. Cruddance will come breaking down your door and nerf the shit out of your legion while and Eversor fucks your waifu

Were all the assassins in 30k, it seems like their rules would have been in TotE

>buying cancerous resin Russ
>not proper metal Russ

With the custodes jetbikes all I can see is this

God dammit user. Now I can't unsee it either.

Why is the lance so short?

DEJA VU
I'VE JUST BEEN IN THIS PALACE BEFORE
HERESY ON THE STEET
AND I KNOW IT'S MY TIME TO GO

Why is it only a normal powerlance, even using the spear would make more sence

...

Grimdark Racing's secret character

Don't bring up logic here.
More seriously, on bikes the Guardian Spear stats would at least make sense.
On infantry it's just dumb.

>On infantry it's just dumb.
why? its a long stick, that gets better with some momentum behind it

Guys, where can i get a picture with SoS using their new transport as strapon? Best content ever.

It's blade on a long stick, but does nothing on the defense. Also, spears are hardly charging weapons for infantry, strictly speaking.

15pts left; Should I give my Sarge a PF, or my Contemptor-cortus a Grav gun?

its one handed right? not really a defenceive wea-
oh who are we kidding, its not like FW gave any though to the relative advatages of using a two handed spear vs a one handed one, or infact anything beyond 'lol charging bonuses'
i do love HH, but it very easy to get caught up on shit that FW never even though of

A sarge of what squad?

which sarge, what else does the cortis have?

Marksmen Vet Sarge / Fist + Assault Cannon Cortus

it's not even FW, retarded designs are just an inherent part of 40k and always will be.

probs the cortis

This. GW also has axes and maces mixed up

>axe less penatrating than a sword
nuh lrn2physics

PF on that sarge is kinda pointless, so the grav is probably the way to go.

I didn't mean axes should be less penetrating than a sword. But maces were designed to dent and bend armour or just break bones through it, whilst axes certainly aren't more penetrating than a sword. Unless they had a hook or hammer on the back, but then you wouldn't be hitting with the axe part.

I don't think a mace should be cutting through terminator armour and what's the point of a power axes then, if it's just one more strength over a chainaxe?

Melee weapons don't make any sense in a sci-fi setting, in modern warfare they are totally uneccessary never mind in the far future.

>But maces were designed to dent and bend armour or just break bones through it

Ergo, not penetrate the armour. Which is why they got higher str., but less able to penetrate.

>axes certainly aren't more penetrating than a sword

When you got a power field enhancing your cutting, all you gotta do is swing real hard to drive that blade through just about anything. Swords probably have less concentrated mass on the strike to enable you to cut as effectively.

>totally uneccessary

Until you need one.

This guy gets it.

So what about when they introduce the rumored save modifiers back in the game?

But the point of a mace is that it will hurt the opponent despite the armour, because it does not have to penetrate it to seriously wound the wearer.

Swords would probably have the edge when it comes to penetration because you can stab with the pointy end, which besides being more easy to slip between armourplates also allows you to put your entire weight behind it.

But power weapons having different rules is just stupid. Maybe GW should have made them all AP 3 with AP 2 on a 6 to wound ... But doesn't matter anymore, coming edition it's all gonna be fixed to wound rolls and Rend values anyway.

Probably like in old 40k (and AoS?), where it's not based on the strength of the weapon, but has a fixed "reduce target armour save by this much" type thing.

I hope this means you don't have to pick one save by can use any and all saves you got, like in WHFB, since that 2+ armour isn't gonna be 2+ in most cases.

Could work if done well, but knowing GW it's gonna mean that armoursaves become a waste of point again just like 2nd edition.

Personally I'd use a somewhat hybrid system, which works just like it does now but if the AP of a weapon is only 1 point higher than the armoursave it applies a -1 save modifier. Would make AP 4 and 3 weapons a bit more meaningfull.

which you never will, firearms are viable at any range and by the far future your armour would make you impervious to anything that has the minimal force that can be applied by a human. Lrt's face it, if we were going to be honest all battles would be fought between space craft, because the threat nuking a planet from orbit would be more than enough to incur surrender and total submission, in the same way that nuclear subs ruled the cold war and actually led to very stable stalemates.

>But the point of a mace is that it will hurt the opponent despite the armour

Hence the higher chance of wounding them.

>because it does not have to penetrate it to seriously wound the wearer.

You still have to dent the armour. If that armour doesn't buckle, the force of the impact is distributed on a wider area and the effect is lessened.

>Swords would probably have the edge when it comes to penetration because you can stab with the pointy end
>slip between armourplates

If you half-sword it. Trying to push a sword blade through armour or into a grap by holding it by the hilt is not gonna be good for the blade. And when you have the blade wrapped in an energy field, I don't feel comfortable grabbing the blade to force it through enemy armour or into a gap.

>But power weapons having different rules is just stupid.

Because all weapon are identical, right?

>the threat nuking a planet from orbit would be more than enough

Which is why void shields are a thing. Important cities are covered entirely by voidshields.

Still doesn't make melee weapons a bit silly however.

>which you never will

Except all those times, even in modern history, where soldier have found themselves fighting in close combat and even using bayonets. Not to forget that you might want to take someone out quietly.

>Because all weapon are identical, right?

Nah, because different marks of power armour don't also have different rules. The differences between power weapons are small enough that they don't really warrant different rules in my opinion.

Would people mind if I buy Xiphon and field it as a Lightning? Because I find it look much better than Lightning.

>because the threat nuking a planet from orbit would be more than enough to incur surrender and total submission

Except when it would not and if you actually wanted to preserve said planet. Newsflash, nuking important infrastructure, industry and potential workforce is a retarded idea except as to a last resort; see exterminatus in the 40k universe.

Sure dedicated power weapons are silly, but "muh orbital bombardment" isn't a catch all solution.

It stands to make the game a lot better, providing its done right. All or nothing armour saves have led to an era of wild overproliferation of AP2 and AP3. If they nerf those a bit and give a boost to weaker weapons then it'll balance things out a lot. I'd say make AP4 a -1 to save and go from there, so that AP3 is -2, and AP 2 is -3. The downside that you point out is very real, but if they do invulnerables on top of normal saves, WHFB-style, then it wouldn't make an enormous difference - a terminator against AP3 would get a 4+ followed by a 5++, which is statistically the same as a 3+. He'd be tougher against AP2 as well, getting a 5+ followed by a 5++, which works out a little better than a 4++.
