>Some kind of heroes are lunkheads like me >Who only do things that they're told. >And some kind of heroes are out for the glory, >They're heroes on purpose, and cold.
>Some become heroes for bravery, sure, >And some just because all is lost. >But a few are the heroes like Molly and Jed, >Who give without counting the cost.
So, what kind of hero is your character, Veeky Forums?
Sam Jones was the most intense one, but it was downright depressing at times. Guardians gave me the feels in a good way. The two last verses give me shivers. Some Kind of Hero is my favorite of the sadder songs. It actually had me crying at Molly's death. Dawson's Christian is the one I first heared and it has a special place in my heart. I guess they went for an alternation between intense feels and funny playful songs on the album. Love the exotic space vegetables

this reminds me of a song i from tg... i cant remember its name, but it was a bout a singing spaceship that had a human brain. anyone know what im talking about?
That's a fine subjective opinion you have there senpai desu....
Jace Price
I'm the villain.
Logan Perez
>muh "subjective" No shit, Sherlock, it's not like I'm trying to share my opinion on a mandalorian finger puppet board or anything.
William Brown
I thought this was the Tibetan basket weaving board?
Dylan Cook
0/10 troll harder
Nathaniel Hughes
Could be "Free Fall & Other Delights - Stuck Here" on yt
Oliver Hughes
Bomber is a good song but it's performance could be better. I really wanna do a classic Hard Rock cover of the song with vocals an octave higher and some drive from the rythm section.
Leo Sullivan
We're the Taiwanese tapdancing board you fags, get it together.
Hunter Thompson
So what happened to the Japanese shadow puppets?
Cameron Clark
This has always been a Mongolian claymation board.

I do not have the voice for it, but I NEED to hear this sung. It's perfect.
top taste. I don't think I can really find fault with this list even if I wanted to.
Justin Brooks
There are two of them, both called Helva's Song, both based on Anne McCaffrey's The Ship Who Sang. There's a more sad one by Ann Harlan Prather, on Space Heroes & Other Fools, and a more lighthearted one by Cecilia Eng on Freefall and Other Delights.
Lads, if a man asks you if you want to travel the spaceways, tell him to fuck off, no matter how much he says you'll get payed youtube.com/watch?v=ud6LiVJkwyA
Lucas Garcia
I dunno. Seems like the perfect (former)NEET occupation.
Mason Cruz
I mean, aye, it's perfect if you've got nothing to leave behind. It's just a decision some would have you take on a whim.
You want to make sure you're with a good crew at the very least.

favorite song from group, close second is spacer's home
Adam Russell
>Bomber is probably the worst song on that album, to be quite honest. >That, and it clashes with the rest of the album style-wise. Yeah, it's a growler Heavy Metal song in a Filk line up; Everything else has an air of whimsy to it, but Bomber is just brutal...
Carmen Miranda's Ghost was second best after Sam Jones.
Because it's bad. Also out of place.
Alexander Wright
>Come on tovarish! This one urged >We'll make it I don't doubt >show me some of this yankee guts I've heard so much about

People who are heroes on purpose are no heroes......they are cold, and do the heroics not for others, but for themselves.

>tfw filk is not a thing anymore despite Folk being a mainstream genre again
A-at least Rosie Hood has a fantasy bard feel to her
Justin Hernandez
Any decent fantasy filk/folk/whatever? A quick search has not found anything worthwhile on youtube.
Dominic Torres
Literally just look up some old Child Ballads. Theres a ton of them
The decemberists have made some modern folk based in fantasy too. Like related
Which was it though? Sergei, the father of Russian rocketry, a man said to be an equal to Van Braun himself, his life's work cut short by his past in the gulag? Komarov, the first man to die in space? Or Gagarin, the first man in space, his chance to go again cruelly robbed from him?
It could be any of them. Perhaps all of them.
Chase Thompson
Yakk is a lunkhead like him. He wants to be good, so he tries his best to mimic his paladin father figute.
Matthew Williams
Here's a good few that often get missed, some top tier choices in the thread already
She's honestly not sure why she's doing what she's doing, only that nobody else is and the king is making a big deal of it. So it must be important, right?
Ian Roberts
maybe the Phoenix by Julia Ecklar ?
Joshua Johnson
Is that his new design for the remaster? I dislike the red flame on his left arm.
