Rogue AIs animating corpses, you can only put them down in certain environmental conditions, or else the AI haunts the group until another available corpse if available.

Maybe it's not a hyper violent thing, but something caught in a loop, really trying to sell the PC's a timeshare off world.

In haunt mode, it can't be seen or interact with PCs unless they do some digital realm stuff.

what is your premise, op?

im thinking some sort of robo lich is trying to destroy all life as his nature demands
as a sort of general plot line
but i need side plots and locations

>Space Fantasy

Literally Star Wars

What kind of fantasy?
Assuming you've read Dune, go on with the five sequels. They become even more of space fantasy politics, but if I remember right Heretics of Dune presented how the Bene Gesserit powers are working. There is a lot about the spice and it's various ways as well as much else.

Or are you looking for Elfs and Orks in space?

Or some other kind of space opera?

dune is a great example
true but not what i was looking for

one Faction to include would be the Khectjin Swarm. these vaguely humanoid insects kidnap sentient species, then use advanced genetic engineering to transform them into bio-organic technologies. they're expert raiders of small outposts, so its incredibly difficult to settle colonies near their territory unless you provide trade worth their interests. typically, they want water.

most other sentient species want them dead for kidnapping untold millions of people, but they can use their bio-tech to cure plagues and virus' faster than any other species previously encountered. this leads to a distasteful arrangement- they'll offer to cure your worst diseases in exchange for enough "research material" as they need to develop their own worlds.

Have you looked up anything about Starfinder? Its Paizo's new space fantasy system coming out in August. Looks to be a good upgrade to PF. This is the GM screen. Ill dump some related pics.

Dwarves in power armor carrying big guns!

Ratfolk in Space!

I'm so goddamn happy about this feature since it's something I came up with for my fantasy world years ago, that the ratfolk were descendants of crashed scientists and explorers from space. Then I read PF's fluff about the Ysoki ratmen who populate notMars. And now they are going to be a base race for Starfinder.

Four armed magic users! Class that can mimic psychics, the Force, technomages, and other space fantasy or scifi "magic" types! Hell it even works for imitating the movie magic of Dr Strange.

Bug priest of the Goddess of Death!

>A crewmate once called him "the galaxy's friendliest death priest," and he wears the badge with pride.

Also, the race is a splinter colony from a locust type hive mind called the Swarm. Generations ago they all suddenly gained a sense of self and got all addicted to individualism.

Forgot to include that he has his larval child on his belt in one those big containers.

Funny fact about the Shirren, those little arms on their chest are mating arms. To use those arms on mundane activities is both grotesque and shameful, like using your penis to call people on your smartphone then handing it your friend.

Take an established fantasy setting, put it in space. If it worked for GW it should work for you

Vesk or the Klingon/Krogan/Badass warrior race that conquers all until beaten back and then integrated. Also obligatory reptile race.

Make excellent mercenaries, engineers, and all around bros.
