what about a bushi Zweihander Sentinel Warder? He always fought pretty defensively - the other guy with the stupid haircut was more about attacks and craziness (likely Fool's Errand), while Jin seemed to defend until he had a perfect moment to strike.

that seems to me like lots of counters, including parrying, following by extremely hard hitting strikes; how about the primal fury strikes that deal constitution damage?

Hey /pfg/, I'm thinking of writing my first adventure rather than using a premade one, and making it an investigation rather than a kick down the door game

That sounds pretty damn good, and is what I was thinking initially.
I might be the first person to ever play a non-OD warder, which is pretty funny.

I think it was something really weird like

High Guardian Fighter 2/Vigilante (Exposed) with Avenger Spec X on one side of the gestalt and Brutal Slayer/Bushi Stalker on the other side, and then it would enter into Landsknecht on one side. It ended up with STR to AC, STR to Reflex Saves, STR-based Attacks of Opportunity, and the ability to wield like a Falchion or something in one hand and have 2.0x your STR modifier in damage.

It was pretty rad

She does have something of a victim vibe now that you mention it.

That gets progressively more awful in each section. Take like the first half of each section (racials, feats) and it's great.

Am I wrong in holding off on spending gold to make sure we have all the correct gear we need and that all our bases are covered or should I just spend it on stuff I think is useful and whatnot.

To be fair it's essentially a rough draft, I'm a decent analyst when dealing with already created material but making something whole cloth is admittedly difficult. The racial feats I'm also aware are a bit... underwhelming, but then again so are a lot of racial feats officially in the game.

Still, it's neat having so many variations right? I'm still not done adding in what all the variations are too...

Did anyone ever convert Radiant Servant of Pelor to Pathfinder? Always loved the idea of playing one. Could make for a cool Cleric archetype, if not a PrC (because PrC:s in PF are meh).

Now I remember my least favorite thing about DnD/Pf, the goddamn maps.

Either I have to buy a fuckton of graph paper and re-draw the maps by hand, or we play without them rendering the concept of distance moot

I'd just make the base Chromatic and Metallic ones, detail a general racial traits set, and add some options. And cut the ridiculously specifi and end-game feats. It feels extremely homebrew-y and overly specific and detailed.
