You need a +1 to save from some source (cover) to save.

Equivalent of saying no save, but because cover saves etc are phrased as improving saving throws by 1, that's how it needs to be formatted

I try to forget 7th ed happened as a relatively new T'au player.
They were thinking that T'au were OP in 7th so they needed to be nerfed in 8th. Also that Markerlights would balanced this out but forgot that you need to waste an entire squads shooting phase to get bs3+ on one enemy unit.

Fire Warriors have always been some of the strongest line infantry in the game since they were introduced.

How likely are we to get Teleporters for the Custodes in their codex?
The only way to get them around right now is in a Land Raider, and you cant fit this guy in along with a squad

The problem i find with Fire warriors is that they are costed appropriately for what they do. i mean s5 APO D1 Rapid fire 1 guns with a 30" range is pretty good on a BS4+ body for 8ppm isnt bad. It is just that they dont have the sheer weight of fire to make it effective.
