Name a better food city

name a better food city

PDX

london

San Diego

Paris fifteen years ago.

Orlando, specifically Disney World, Disney Springs and Universal Studios. Everywhere else in Orlando is literal shit, but goddamn the food at Disney World and Universal is fucking god tier.

PDX East (the original)

you don't like kebabs and curry?

Tokyo,Osaka.

Beijing

hongkong,chengdu,tokio

Melbourne, Australia.
Brunswick area is just nice enough people are willing to buy food there and just poor enough people can afford to pay the rent and experiment with food.

Obviously Lyon you plebs.

Singapore is god tier.

San Sebastian. By such a huge margin it's not even funny.

*the areas surrounding the theme parks are literal shit

it's because all the employees live just outside the parks. I'm glad you fucking tourists stay contained to that area and never make it downtown or to winter park.

NYC would be my number one. But I also like Hong Kong as a close second.

>That Columbian Burger next to Universal Studios
I also vote for Orlando, i feel like new york is over rated

Chicago

DETROIT HAS THE BEST PIZZA FAGGOTS

L.A.

I'm from NYC and i think detroit style pizza is the best pizza.

Tokyo, Copenhagen, Hanoi, Paris, Hong Kong

After living in both, Tokyo is better in pretty much every way

Florida sucks bro. Get over it

Underrated post. Also, New Orleans.

Anywhere with a large and varied immigrant population. They won't have any specialties, but what they will have is all kinds of delicious food from all across the goddamn planet. And then they start making fusions. Have you ever had a Korean taco? God I love this country.

Stand aside plebs. World class cuisine coming through.

>food at theme parks

Overpriced garbage tbqh.

Do Americans REALLY eat this?

Prague

NYC is best due to variety of different cuisines.
That's NYC minus the part about specialties.

there is way better food in orlando, theme parks hardly even in orlando. Disney is mostly kissimmee and universal is in the outskirts in an area that would normally be the ghetto. Orlando or the theme parks are not nearly as diverse or good as new york though. we are one of the most visited cities in the world and pretty good for the southeast.

It's so great until you get stabbed

Bahahahhahhaah no

Old Quebec City, Canada.

>NYC is best due to variety of different cuisines.

I wish other places had variety.

I don't know, we need a working definition of what makes a great food city.

Technically any global destination city for the rich will have the "best" food-- the Michelin-starred restaurants and such.

If not that, then what? Who has the best regional ingredients?

Who has the best cuisine? Who has the highest number of different cuisines done well?

Everybody will have their own opinion of which city has the best food, but people ITT should state some criteria or reasons behind their picks.

What city has more variety than NYC?

Every city but capitals and Murrica.
Literally every city has its cooking recipes and delicatessen if you know where to search.
P. S. Italy is the only place on earth where you eat proper meals.

New Orleans has the greatest food in the world. Cajun folk have some delicious shit

Los Angeles if you're more into beaner food.

Los Angeles.

The only cities in America that give New York a run for its money are SF, LA and NOLA, with Chicago and Seattle taking the second tier.

But as far as the world goes Tokyo blows most cities out of the water.

Philadelphia is a great food city, and the shitty hipsters are kept out because people think it's just memesteaks

You're talking about international drive right? Love that place

phoenix, unironically.

Everyone is a transplant here so everyone brings a bit of taste from everywhere in the country

>NYC

flyover detected

Sort of. It's more like getting a taste of everywhere in the country, but at mall foodcourt level.

Sounds like Florida, no thanks

>
Belgrade, Serbia

Las Vegas

Only if casino buffets and celebrity chef restaurants are your jam.

Hue, Vietnam.

Fusion of Northern and Southern Vietnamese dishes.

Gary, Indiana

not even close, stop eating in shit locations. You probably live near apache junction or buckeye

You left out Houston

Literally any of them.

>seattle

You misspelled Portland.

Houston, TX

Sharks Fish and Chicken?
I ate at one in Gary once before.

anywhere in the southwest

Anywhere in NorCal, from Sacramento all the way through the Bay, past Napa and Sonoma to San Francisco and south past San Jose to Monterrey. The entire area is chock full of any kind of cuisine you could possibly imagine as well as some of the best restaurants in the world.

Nigger detected.

Where's the rest of the cheese?

Boston

I'm an Australian who got a pizza from New York City back in 2003. It was pretty shit. I asked if they'd add pineapple and they said no which really bummed me out

Billings
It's about 80% of the economy

Best food in NYC is the Papaya dog.

>I asked if they'd add pineapple
It's hard for me to accept your opinion on pizza when you have such shit taste

London

Was this image taken in bonedaddies, soho London?

It looks like their bowls, if it is that place is the bomb

Ahem, San Sebastian in the Basque region of Spain.
Look it up

I remember about 10 years ago, i stopped hearing about people actually wanting to go to New York for trips or holidays. I dunno why, people just started picking other places, this is completely anecdotal of course, everyone i work with is an avid traveller, New York only ever seems to be a one time deal. Do people in New York feel like it has become less tourist inclined? Do you think the food is affected?

I would vote Singapore

Went for vacation and found literally everything there. Local cuisine is god tier too if you can stand spicy shit

No it's in orlando

>Cali Mex

It does very good California cuisine and SF does burritos well and I liked sushi but I wasn't impressed by the Italian

For BBQ, TexMex and Viet Houston is amazing. I wouldn't single it out as being special for much else though.
>Portland
Only if your tastes are super fucking white and being concerned about the politics of your food is as important to you as how it actually tastes.

You have to find the right Italian restaurants. They're here, but you have to sift through the touristy places to find them.

I can't. Greatest city in the world.

they always do, Houston has been reported on multiple shows as being one of the best cities for food in the US

your subjective views on pizza is why Trump won
fuck you and your shitty post on this site
