Let's settle this shit once and for all.
Whats the smallest building block of the universe?
>protip : energy is not a building block

your penis

OP's dick

god

Quarks, in all their yummy flavours!

proof it :^)

preons or strings

Photons

amoeba are reeeeaaaally small

this

People act like quarks were proven to exist, but they are essentially accepted due to their explanatory power and elegance. Although I personally always thought gluons were strange.

I think if we use similar reasoning, other less popular models can be reasonably justified.

Electron or proton which ever is smaller

i'm a girl, soooo...

Monads

Triggered

mathematics

planks

thats just a measurement

Cellular automata

Stringy legos in 25 + 1 dimensions

A point

i don't know because i am a brainlet, therefore i am to say it's one of these imaginary things, all of which i visualize in my brain as non-physical:

strings
energy
foam
dark matter

He thinks science can prove things true

Quarks and Leptons

That picture of an atom gave me AIDs.

It's AIDS not AIDs

nice try

stop shouting

it's turtles all the way down

half a photon

tits of gtfo

Carbon

Lego blocks, the really flat ones.

Quantum skeletons

Holy fuckin shit what the hell happened to her?
Is she becoming one with kek(e) just as I have done?

A mind knowing of it's existence, without that all the rest technically won't exist.

Former child stars.

I would argue that as the ability to measure smaller areas of reality increases, we will always find smaller "particles". However at the moment, I would go so far as to say that whatever quantum elements comprise quantum wave fluctuations in a vacuum, that right there might be where one would find your smallest particle.

Also if you subscribe to string theory, whatever comprises strings might be your smallest particle.

Your brain

>the smallest building block
protip: gravitino

>they are essentially accepted due to their explanatory power and elegance
you mean like
atoms, light, radio waves, electrons, gravity, weak force, higgs field, molecules, wind, cells, brain processes, combustion, blood, sound, solubility, friction, water, currents, fish, animals, limbs, eyes, tastebuds, porn, reproduction, babies, radios, checkbooks brocolli, soap, sponges, perfume,v books, chairs, flowers, clocks, fridges, tomatos, tooth picks, bottle caps, computers, pillows, thermometers, toe rings, coasters, soy sauce packet...

energy is the answer btw. energy and matter can convert into each other.
