>Could I trouble you to bring a dish to pass for Thanksgiving, dear?
What do you bring Veeky Forums? Or are you going to disappoint Grandma ?
User, your mother tells me you've become quite the chef this year!
sweet potato pie
What kind of Thanksgiving meal should I leave on my grandma's tombstone this year Veeky Forums?
pizza!
My mother told me my grandmother would slow-roast her turkeys. She'd have to get up early in the morning, the turkey would cook all damn day, and my mother said it was the driest turkey she'd ever eaten. And my grandmother made the turkey EVERY year. I make a good turkey and I STILL don't like turkey.
I'm staying at home with the GF and we're going to make our own thanksgiving.
> Mashed potato made with roasted parsnip and rudabaga puree, with home-made double-strained greek yogurt added in for creaminess, topped with tzatziki
> Pumpkin-pecan pie
> Black garlic three-bean salad
> Braised seitan and roasted mushroom/cranberry stuffing
...
