Either you go to a shit university or you added that to seem smarter. Either way you've been exposed as a brainlet wannabe

I'm If you don't plan to go to grad school for anthropology then majoring in it is totally useless. You can go to law school or something else where what you studied in undergrad doesn't matter but that's pretty much it. And if you go to a good college you might be able to get a job in something totally unrelated just because your diploma says Harvard or whatever. But yeah, one of the most useless majors.

apprender is the infinitive right? nor do you need to say suis before it, or am I off-track here? it's been a while since I've practiced.

I think suis can be used to emphasize current activity in lieu of an -ing case

was pre dental and creative writing. should have taken the organic chem courses earlier on in my career because i would have switched in a heart beat. chemistry shaped the way i think.
probably john williams. he had a short but amazing selection of novels.
i really enjoyed six four, although it was a too lengthy for just a kafkaesque detective novel. bittersweet ending with a solid twist. worst might be still life with woodpecker. that middle where she just described egyptians and the planets was way too long. it was worth reading, but i really wanted to skip the parts where the two were apart.
yes but very slowly. i would like to take classes once i get more free time on my hands. i chose japanese not because im a weaboo or anything, but my brother is and his jet program made a good excuse to travel over there. i was impressed at how beautiful even the rural towns were.

D'accord, bonne chance!

it's good that you're learning but both of these posts are pretty bad french. the first one could be: je suis en train de apprendre or ''je suis encore un apprenant' (i am still a learner/apprentice), or say 'en apprenant' (while learning, ...) . 'je suis apprendre' is like saying 'I am learning' but in the sense that you are the action that is learning, not that you're doing it. Also ne .. pas always needs a verb in the middle, it should be 'ni'.

>mais cette n'est pas quoi j'ai dit
ce n'est pas ce que j'ai dit

>'je suis apprendre' is like saying 'I am learning' but in the sense that you are the action that is learning, not that you're doing it.

This is very helpful, thank you

Another one, if you're done, don't say "je suis fini" unless you want to get made fun of for being overly dramatic. "j'ai fini" (I have finished) would be the proper way. Good luck though, 12 weeks is pretty tight.
