Plath wrote the Bell Jar which is obviously far more popular than her poetry.

I know. I've read it. I'm so sad because there're no more prose by her.

Women are incapable of creating high art.

I'm the only person I know who has only read her poetry and not the Bell Jar. For some reason the story has never seemed very interesting to me. Could you compare her prose style to someone else?

True, there are no good female composers or artists. But there are, strangely enough, quite a few good writers, especially in English. Not so much in other languages, for some reason.

toni morrison

>compare her prose style
I don't know, it's called something like "novel of confession", and it seems like it.

Between Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice, I liked the latter writing more but Wuthering Heights is darker and has no happy ending which I prefer
