There is probably a deficiency in protein (!= meat, all meat has protein but not everything that contains protein is meat (like beans, or generally most food)). You should (as an average person) probably get enough carbohydrates and fat.

Just get really low cal snacking options until you gradually begin taper down and decrease your appetite. I'm having the same problem since I'm recently unemployed and my car isn't working, so I'm basically stuck in my apartment with nothing to do all day. I eat a ton of cabbage, brocolli, carrots, and dill pickles. I find that for whatever reason, dill pickle spears really kill my appetite for an hour or 2 and they're basically 0 cal. Just a lot of sodium unfortunately.

Literally just start eating less. Eat three light meals a day, and maybe have a carrot or something every once in a while inbetween. After a couple of weeks you start to get used to it.

a very low fat high carb diet will keep blood glucose levels stable for a lot longer and keep you feeling good for longer.

I recommend you start a water fast for the first week to get your body used to not eating. Then try a dry fast for a few days to wean yourself off the soda. After that you can do OMAD (one mal a day) for a while and you should be good.
