A good one but short, but even paired with Vico's however lacks the heft of Cellini's. Wish I could say otherwise (because I prefer the former two as 'human beings') but facts is facts, ma'am.
This thread is odd in that all the books mentioned here are good ones. I'd pair Grant's with Sherman's. Another rec is Boswell and Johnson's often paired Journals to the Islands of the Hebrides: great reading.

I wouldnt say either its better because I havent read seven pillars of wisdom but I thoroughly enjoyed the craft by Steven king which is his autobiographical account of how he learnt to write, and I also enjoyed Roald Dahls auto-biography.

Can't say what is better, but I'm reading Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali and really enjoying it.
