Hey Veeky Forums, how does one into being fat? I don't understand how people can put so much food down in one sitting, how do you not feel ill or too full after the first portion of food? I hardly even feel an urge to eat when my stomach is rumbling yet fat people whine up a storm at the thought of hunger, what gives? Am I defective? I thought my burger genes and shitty american diet was supposed to make me fat, not anorexic.

Eating is pleasurable
Some people lack discipline
No sense of moderation
They get fat

Now fuck off skelly fag

>hey Veeky Forums why are people different then me, instead of being an exact copy of me

But I want to be fat, or at least eat fat so I can get swole. Can't do that when I'm eating 600~kcal a day. Even with more food available, I have no desire to stuff it into my face.

Pro body builders don't even like stuffing their face all day but you just have to do it. No way around it.

Buy garbage with high calorie to size ratio like... ice cream and shit like that.

>hey Veeky Forums there are people different than me how do I emulate them?
I've had to try shakes before when I was underweight as a kid, they're nice but I end up treating them like another meal from how dense they are and that I only have 1-2 to begin with

my metabolism sucks, I always feel sleepy and depressed. Eating just helps.

Skinny people really think that all fat people must be disgustinglu, severely overeating because they can pound back 3000 calories a day and stay thin as a rail

Meanwhile plenty of fat or chunky people are eating 500 or less calories a day and still gaining weight and getting hospitalized for the effects of malnutrition and starvation

Obesefag here. I actually eat the same portions of the same food as my two stick tier roommates, I just spend all day on my ass at a computer while the two of them get a moderate amount of exercise. I also have a shit metabolism, but I'm pretty sure the exercise is the real deciding factor here.

I would probably gain weight if I ate 3k a day. But a childhood of amphetamine abuse makes that kind of hard.
I've always been told I have a 'good metabolism'. I just don't want to eat. Nothing to do with how I burn it, as I'm just as sedentary as the lardest.

A childhood eating ritalin might have influence this, I was 40lbs when I was 8.

its not as much quantity as it is calorie density. for example a tiny mcdonalds cheeseburger has nearly 500 calories. that is 1/4th of your daily energy requirements. nobody eats just one, either, so think about that. youre eating at least half your daily requirement in calories in a mcdonalds lunch. and you wont leave filling "full" because its small.

>Obesefag here. I actually eat the same portions of the same food as my two stick tier roommates
This is the delusion of all fatties. This is what kills the fatties.

Antidepressants and little impulse control

me

I'm fat and getting fatter but i work in a kitchen and regularly stock out food and obviously cooking is fast paced & moving a lot. So every day i dont sit as a job, lift 75 lbs hundreds of times a day, same as any gymfag, and on the weekends i go to the gym and do cardio/lifting or hike, work in my garden, etc. i live a pretty un-sedentary lifestyle and exclusively eat under 2k cals a day. I have thyroid issues but they're apparently well managed on my meds so idk if i'm just fucked metabolism wise or what. I don't even eat sugar, pasta, or similar stuff on weekdays if i can help it. Feels bad man. Don't know what else to do that won't make my diet shitty or waste even more of my time excersizing for what seems like no good reason. I'm a pretty healthy dude all around, looking good seems like a shitty trade off to basically go vegan-keto and live at the gym constantly

>nobody eats just one
The only item of fast food I can say this about is nuggets and fries
I've been on SSRIs and shit for years. They don't make me hungry. Then again neither does THC and all the stoners meme about the munchies.

you mean as BOTH your stick tier roommates

It's like any other addiction I think, eating releases goodfeel chemicals like any other substance. Plus it's hard to kick too since you can't ever really stop eating forever like you can with drugs or gambling.

I wish I could never feel hungry. I stress eat too often. Lyrica also might have something to do with the weight gain.

>Meanwhile plenty of fat or chunky people are eating 500 or less calories a day and still gaining weight and getting hospitalized for the effects of malnutrition and starvation
No, no they fucking aren't. Kill yourself you fucking idiot.

iktf bro

Hey OP, how does one into being gay? I don't understand how people can put so many dicks in their ass in one sitting. how do you not feel ill or too full after the first guy? I hardly even feel an urge to put anything in my ass yet gay people whine up a storm at the thought of nigger dicks, what gives? Am I defective? I thought my sissy genes and shitty japanese porn was supposed to make me gay, not straight.

I ordered 110 nuggets at burger king the other night and the bitch at the drive-thru said to me in a very condescending way "will you move up while we make your 11 orders of nuggets". Bitch, at least I can afford 110 nuggets.

Get your thyroid tested, if it comes out fine you're sleepy and depressed *because* you're a fat fuck.

>Meanwhile plenty of fat or chunky people are eating 500 or less calories a day and still gaining weight
AHAHAHAHAAA

Only if they're literally babies, you fucking retard. Stop lying to yourself about your calorie intake.

Why do millennials always need to add their own caption onto a picture that speaks for itself?

I feel the same way, OP. Then again I drink vodka throughout most of the day, and the only time I can really choke down food is when I'm drunk.

Eating and drinking are the only things that give me pleasure, so I do them as much as possible while I wait to die. Just like anything else, the more you do it, the more it takes to get the same feeling next time.

>I'm pretty sure the exercise is the real deciding factor here
Pretty much. I'm borderline underweight, but have a bit of a gut.

For me it's super easy with sugar, but if you really want to do it at least take care of your teeth
Sugar is in general a slippery slope so the more you out in the more you'll want ad nauseum (it's also fairly easy to quit)
However, if you don't want to be a retard, there are other ways to put on weight, like working out and eating healthy, but it takes much more time and effort
Taking 3kg off took less than a month, putting on 2-3kg of not-all-of-it-fat took months of working out and having to eat a bit more than I'd like a few times a week

Same here man. I have literally no appetite.

i've put on about ~20lbs over the past 2 years. I eat pretty good meals and in my general diet keep under 2200 calories at a moderately active lifestyle.
The problem was that I ate a packet of kettle chips or extruded corn snacks every second day with my girlfriend or a half a block of chocolate and didn't take into account that extra 200 or so extra calories per day or whatever.

he's right though. 500 exrta calories a day is 3500 a week. at that rate you will gain 50+ lbs over a year, and over multiple years you're fucked. that is how pretty much everyone gets fat

I can barely bring myself to eat. Even though I do manual labor and am incredibly hungry the food turns to ash in my mouth.

>Meanwhile plenty of fat or chunky people are eating 500 or less calories a day and still gaining weight and getting hospitalized for the effects of malnutrition and starvation
Do fat people think we will believe them if they say this enough?

Its not really how much you eat, but the type of food you only eat. Most foods in America are highly processed

That's ass backwards. Calories in, calories out. That is all that matters. You can eat any type of food you want. You only get fat is you eat too much of it.

I'm super skinny but at least I dont got a big dick and I ain't got no money

you haven't eaten less than 2000 calories a day in your life you fat fuck. A mental child like you could never have the dedication to eat 500 calories a day especially for any extended period.

you literally couldn't be more wrong

That's wrong. Eating so much processed foods causes other health concerns, but they will not make you fatter. Consuming more calories than you burn will do that. You can gain weight eating healthy vegetables if you eat too much of them.

You're fucking retarded no one is that sedentary.

overweight here, like 15 or 20 kgs.
Sometimes I skip meals because shit sleep habits, I do not exercise and have a really sedentary life.
I lost weight like three times and regained them back until I found out that whenever I quit Exercise I get fat in a few months.
I do diet actually, lost my gallbladder so I can't eat to much meat or I can't shit like in two days, So instead I raid the vegetables section and eat a lot of them.
tl;dr Im fat and do diet, Im healthy enough with my only problem being my sedentary lifestyle. Besides I tend to eat whenever Im anxious, So I try to drink water or eat some seeds and shit.

People get overweight and even obese over the pass of years, just look all the old people around you. Shitty diet and sedentary jobs make them get fat.

>I also have a shit metabolism

Some people just don't like eating. I find it weird because y'all should have been eliminated by natural selection already, but it is what it is.

But you can add a lot of "invisible" calories to your cooking pretty easily -- every tablespoon of olive oil is 120 calories, butter is 100 or so -- and it actually makes the food taste better anyway. There are also many opportunities to add sugar without ruining the dish.

i'd call you a faggot and tell you to shut up but plenty of people already have.

oh what the hell

It's about the caloric density of the foods consumed. Your average fat guy orders a value meal at burger king, a shake to wash it down, and maybe an extra sammich, as that extra large value meal might not get the job done. This adds up to like 3500 calories for a single meal. Then they sit on their ass all day before going home to another 3000 calorie meal, and they perceive this as normal eating. It's not an amount of food that makes them feel uncomfortable. It's enough mass to fill their enlarged stomachs. But the calories contained in that mass are out of scale with a healthy diet.

doubt

exactly

>I find it weird because y'all should have been eliminated by natural selection already, but it is what it is.
What are you retarded? The amount of food that is eaten now days is grossly disproportionate to the amount that was eaten throughout most of history.

>really sedentary life
I don't know if it's an option for amerifats but I find that simply walking everywhere I can gets me moving enough to burn a lot of calories and motivate me to exercise properly

>75 lbs
>same as any gymfag
Why are all fatties deluded? It's like the fat goes to their heads.

and?

How could a propensity for obesity be a selection pressure during a time when obesity was extremely rare?

we're talking about the opposite here bro, read the thread or at least the post you're replying to

I really do think there is a genetic component to it.

I used to be fat (5'10", worst I got to was 270lb). Managed to lose the weight (am now ~140lb), but I gain it back really easily. I've managed to keep it in check for about 9 years now.. but every once in awhile a few months go by where I say fuck it and I can easily go up 15+ pounds.

Point being, for me It's something I have to actively track and monitor... whereas like you said, for others it's mostly automatic. It's not even like I'm shoveling junk food into my face either. I could probably get fat eating nothing but broccoli and baked chicken breasts.

He should have asked him to take off the breading. It was probably all those carbs that paralyzed him.

It's in your genes.

the way you get fat isn't by eating one large meal, it's by eating regular portions of fatty or high carb foods more often than you should.
