Air Frying

Hey Veeky Forums anyone tasted food that was air fried? how is it? is it worth it?

You afraid of a little oil?

deep fry or bake
air fry is a meme

Isn't this pretty much fancier steaming?

more like less fancy convection baking

I've had tater tots that were airfried. Couldn't tell any difference.

i just cook the normal way. i'm not going to purchase retarded shit like that.

>convection baking
in a smaller faster heated up oven with included agitation so you don't have to turn stuff.

air fryers actually require the use of a small bit of oil to use properly.

steamed hams

I tried it with fries. Didn't really work. Had to add a ton of oil, kinda worked. would not recommend 1/10

Got one for christmas, havent used it yet. Thinking about making some fries on the first run, something easy

next time RTFM

If you're talking about frozen tater tots, those are pre-fried.

what makes it fried? aint that just baked?

>falling for the air jew

It mists some oil.

And?...

That's an Albany expression

I've been enjoying ours. Chicken wings, once tossed in some oil, air fry up super nice.

>air fryer
>doesn't fry air

>Small convection oven.
>Agitates contents to ensure even browing.
>Even mists a bit of oil (or water? if you put it in the oil compartment).
>Works faster and more efficient than bigger convection oven for the task it was designed for.

That means its not any healthier, youre essentially just reheating them. Theyve already been fried.

it's like a giant egg. and goes nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

seems to cook good. would recommend.

deep fry you got to break out the oil, no one wants to do that. at worst it's like an no pre heat oven.
