I think the German version "Wolkenkratzer" is also nice. It means "cloud scraper".

My favourite word is probably Vorstellungskraft. A literal translation would be "imagination, fantasy", but it is actually composed of the words "Kraft" (strength, power) and Vorstellung (imagination), which further consists of the words "vor" (in front of) and "stellen" (to put, to set or to place). So the German word for imagination is "the power to put (something) in front (of you)".

With all due respect words don't have to be "poetic" to be god tier. Also I don't really see how fireplace is all that pathetic. Seems very matter of fact (unlike skyscraper). In my opinion true God tier words are phonetically pleasing sounds which have a meaning which accompanied them well.
