life can be beautiful and ugly, it is your choice to choose how you see the world

It's an outlet and a form of catharsis for me. While the subject matter is sad I wouldn't say my experiences with the books have a negative impact on me. It's nice to be able to relate with the characters, see how they deal with things, etc.
