How do you plan to educate your children, Veeky Forums? Will you focus on a classical education? Will you make sure they're top STEMlords? You aren't sending them to public school, right?

Redpilling them. On Women, Mein Kampf, Gulag Archipelago, Culture of Critique Series, Decline of the West, Brevik's Manifesto

they will be against leftism, race mixing, and feminism

kek

i'd teach them how to plant a bomb, start a fire, play guitar. if they catch a hunter, shoot them in the nuts. i'd try to be as progressive as i could possibly be, as long as i don't have to try too much.

This is the only good way

not give them free access to internet until they're 13

STEM lords, they can take up philosophy in their older years.
No one gives two shits what a child (13

Literally too young, don't let them use the Internet until they are 21.
You should know better having been on Veeky Forums for more than three days.

theyre going to learn latin, piano, and homesteading

Anyone else cringe whenever they see or hear ST*M? It's a TedTalk-tier buzzword and I've only ever heard shrill professors and pasty limpwristed niggas saying it irl. Engineering is cool, applied mathematics is cool, but using that acronym just makes the supposedly hard sciences sound gay as fuck and exclusively for bugmen.

They're going to Catholic school. Then I will take it upon myself to teach them mathematics, literature, and Spanish.

Agreed.

>21
ok gramps I'm being reasonable here

My daughter is currently three.
We read to her each night.
Only verse; no prose pollution
Shall ever pass her sight.

Seriously, she's not allowed to read anything that's not poetry. The number one way to fuck a kid up is to read prose, aka pleb literature. Tonight we read some lovely selections of Melville's poetry

>having children

Nice way to make them want to rebel against you

...

Anti-natalism is the only morally defensible position with regards to bringing new life into the world to suffer just so you can carry on your own genetic lineage.
I’m also a 24 year old virgin but that’s unrelated to my beliefs.

Kids rebel against everything, you can only hope they come back after they level out.

Homeschooling probably, I already own books for every age group. It would just be a matter of getting source material for mathematics. The rest I got covered.

If the childdoes wrong i say what did wrong, if he does wrong again and knows it, he/she deserves the stick (or the belt, suposing i have the money to afford one)

I will not personally be procreating.

Adoption is still a potential option, but not being considered seriously at this stage.

Should it ever occur that I am in charge of a child, I will make certain that they are literate and numerate, and that they graduate high school.

As someone who could not read until they were nine years old, and who dropped out of school entirely at thirteen, and thus received a total of four years of education where I was both functionally literate and numerate enough to understand the lessons I was being given, this is a reasonable but moderately easy to ensure bare minimum.

agreed
absolutely unforgivable plebeianism, having children is

i have one, working on a second. of course i'm sending them to public school. school's not for book learning, it's for social learning.

>being a breeder

This.

>Seriously, she's not allowed to read anything that's not poetry. The number one way to fuck a kid up is to read prose
Why

>of course i'm sending them to public school. school's not for book learning, it's for social learning.

The only thing I socially learned going to public school in South King County, WA was to hate nonwhites. Not even joking. I was a total racist from elementary school to high school because I was surrounded by the most retarded blacks and Mexicans, all the while having "multiculturalism" (read: reducing the cultures of the world to tropes to memorize and repeat) forced on me through curricula.

>be me
>second or fourth grade
>in "music" class where we play kazoos and sheeit
>it be black history month my nigga
>fat tenor music teacher leads class in literally chanting Martin Luther King Jr.'s name with pseudo-religious reverence
>mfw

Middle school onward I did "gifted" programs just to self-segregate. I shit you not, I lurked Stormfront when I was like ten. Aside from encouraging tribalism, public schools are also intellectual wastelands where children are given nothing but busywork for 12 years and the laziest behavior is rewarded. Seriously, public schools are a racket, and only good for social learning if you want your child to either turn into a mongoloid conformist or a skinworshipper. Private schools, charters, and homeschooling should be pursued by parents who want a non-pleb future for their children.

I'm similar, in a sense, with the whole racism thing but not as 'extreme' as you seemed to be. I'm curious, did your racism phase end or do you still hold the same opinions from that period of your life?

Procreation is an unforgivable sin.

I believe Thomas Sowell btfo'd the Bell Curve, if that answers your question. I also enjoy jazz and think the Civil War was necessary. As long as everyone subscribes to a monoculture, a multiethnic society is fine by me (in America, anyway, if I were a European or Japanese or whatever I would probably feel differently). That said, I also think that many behaviors deemed racist today are only natural and not inherently bad.

I'd love to homeschool my children. I was bullied a lot at public school when I was a kid and none of my family cared much about learning. Thankfully I managed to motivate myself and work hard enough to go to a good university, but now I'm here I feel all the more upset at having missed out at being raised in a household that the luckier and more privileged people here do.

I'd make sure the kids had lots of chances to socialise. Actually, I'd love to try to make most of their education for the first 6-7 years be almost entirely freeform and hands on. I'd love to take them to history/heritage sites and other interesting places so they get to develop an interest first-hand in things. The actual instruction phase would be balanced; I'd give them solid maths and sciences grounding, try to give them as best an outline I can of the history of the universe and of humanity, and make sure they can write well.

It just strikes me that most of my time at school was wasted. Only 1/5 of my days did I actually learn something, with the rest being futile. I'd like my kids to have a happy childhood that prepares them for their futures in all fields, and that they'll be able to go out in the world and properly function.

So am I, guarantee most 30 year old furries wouldn't have turned out that way had they been forced to go outside.

it's funny to read that here
while my 3yo watches her cartoons by herself on youtube

i just take my kids everywhere i can
my wife is mostly in charge of them though
when not possible my parents or her parents take charge

Bro, this is a joke right? There's some seriously bad shit that gets through to their kids app even.

Unironically this.

Are you not aware that there are videos on Youtube that are generated from machine learning algorithms to optimize in getting your kids attention?

The videos are utter nonsensical garbage of flashing lights and 3d models doing unintelligible things, but if one ends up getting a lot of views, then the next generation of videos emphasizes it.

youtube.com/watch?v=ygUdIcp8EDk

Seriously, the internet is poisonous now for anyone that isn't conscious enough to realize what is happening. Get your kid off right fucking now you're blowing it.

>Not sending your children to a Catholic school just so they can be taught Latin and Greek

When I was 3 my entertainment was eating paper when nobody was looking. I think you're overreacting.

You have to be extremely retarded to be against race mixing...

I'm not that user but I'm here to say fuck you. If you're totally cool with a bunch of 3 year old kids watching videos featuring needles, knives, abortion, and abduction scenarios then you should be removed from the gene pool.

>You aren't sending them to public school, right?
You got a problem with Harrow, m80?

Somehow they've convinced themselves that they'll create their perfect race of man through, of all things, inbreeding. To them I say: good luck with that...

Were we watching the same video? I saw cartoon characters getting their heads swapped.

He's talking about the trends in those videos, and he's absolutely right. Those videos are disturbing and should not be shown to small children.

Not going to tell you how to raise your kid but "Elsagate" is a whole thing, you should probably look into it before making a decision.

Jesus Christ that's pretty horrific

>Teaching them English and Russian from early age is a must, wife will try to teach them some basic French
>Will try to get them to attend the best school they can get
>I'd encourage them to get the best grades they can, especially in math, natural sciences and literature
>Absolutely no theology/religion of any kind
>Will try to encourage them to read classics and other fiction as much as possible
>As they get older, I'd love to teach them basic history of philosophy, analytic philosophy and logic
>Will try to get them into the best college they can get. Any degree will go, in so far as it can guarantee them a financially stable future (e.g. no philosophy, arts, classics, history) or is intellectually bunk (theology, gender studies (or "studies" of any kind)). STEM will go but I won't push him into this field, STEMism is a specific form of partial anti-intellectualism.

There is nothing wrong with being a cuck...
Really makes me think...

>Russian
>no theology/religion
>analytic philosophy
>STEM is anti-intellectual
My head is on fire from all the tipping.

>Russian
I'm Russian
>STEM is anti-intellectual
I've never said that. STEM *elitism* is anti-intellectual.

>>Absolutely no theology/religion of any kind
This is how you make sure Russia stays a shithole forever.

This will absolutely back fire in the long run if you forbid them from doin certain choices that you don't agree with.

this guy gets it

>start thinking when you are 30
overall brain processing power and detail memory peaks around age 18

and dick sucking, i hope

>I'm Russian
My condolences.
>STEM *elitism* is anti-intellectual.
He says while fedora tipping at religion at 40kHz.

Nope, it peaks, in most people, around age 24. After that, it just keeps declining, but this is mostly true for math and other sciences, not so much for philosophy and literature seeing as most masterpieces were written at an old age.

Know thy self, know thy enemy.
A thousand battles, a thousand victories.

>>Not sending your children to a Catholic school just so weird old guys can touch their pee pee
ftfy

the point still stands

you should not make kids do anything they do not want to
there are some limitations to this of course
but the error is always on your side

No it doesn't, I specifically mentioned pushing for STEM early and encouraging philosophy late.

No turd who has read at most a twentieth of the basics and lacks the life experience to understand its message/ interpretat it is worth listening to.

Bullshit, no child left to wang off of the world around them ever suceeded in life, unless you consider "dying from an alleged drug overdose while dressed as a woman named xylaphone in a motel bathroom off route 86 after some compensated rough sex turned sour" success.

Having brought two children up to first grade so far, here is what I do:

I identify strengths and weaknesses and min max. IE if their strengths are clearly not in grace or subtlety I have them swim and ski.

I read to them every single night, on subjects they enjoy. I make them read a small but usually "adult" poem, I read them a picture book, and then a chapter of an easy adult book like Steinbeck or Golding.

I watch for exhaustion and give them rest and play days.

I strongly reward success with material goods.

I punish ethical transgression with material loss, timeouts in an uncomfortable position (kneeling with nose to wall for extended periods of time) and lecture, never physical punishment.

I give them moral compass (Christianity, or rather Christian ethics).

I openly criticize blind adherence to ideology, or blatant commercialism, or irrational behavior.

I sit with my wife and confer on success and failure, and keep an open mind to mental health.

I feel like the last is the most important part, as children are all individuals, and you have to tailor response constantly. My oldest is deeply sentimental and emotional, while my older lets punishments roll off her and gives cold glares when she disagrees (despite being 4). Flexibility and discipline are like a see-saw.

Sorry for the blog post but this shit fascinates me.

Procreating is immoral, user.

I would agree with you if 90% of the successful people I know werent either STEM types or plebs/humanities majors with a killer business sense.

another mother asked me why I didnt let the kids consume mass media. I told her I dont feed them trash, and I dont let them watch trash

So true

School makes even subjects you like boring as fuck. Everyone tells you that you go to school to get an education, but really you could be homeschooled and enjoy learning

Public schools have wider social opportunities though, which is great for kids, especially the not as sharp/submissive/obedient kids (like me i challenged all authorities at 13)

One time I met a girl who was homeschooled. She was in college then. She said she liked homeschool but she missed out on a lot of peer related activities just because she didnt go to public, see all the other kids there too etc, didnt have many friends as a result

I ended up making out with her in her van at a campsite at 3am. Was hotttt. She didnt want to fuck tho, I think she was religous

Every homeschooler I have met suffered from their own social issues, and their parent's hubris at their [the parent and the child's] superiority.

Every homeschool defender on this site reeks of the same.

The current homeschooler I know right now is a CNA (ass wiper) who believes her child is going to be a star and brings her to auditions all day. Its a fucking travesty, as the child has roughly 10x the potential of the mother.

They'll be trained from the start to attend a prestigious university, and they'll know my love is dependent on them getting admitted. Best case scenario, I hire a professional tutor.

>peaks, in most people, around age 24. After that, it just keeps declining, but this is mostly true for math and other sciences
Literal /pol/-tier musings. At 24 you're at best going to be touching upon the beginnings of modern math in doctoral research. Making meaningful major contributions at this stage is simply impossible for anyone but prodigies and savants.

Yeah the girl i mentioned was socially awkward. She didnt get out much and it was obvious

Out of curiosity, what do you do for a living?

you seem pretty angry, user

professional /pol/ shitposter

>No turd who has read at most a twentieth of the basics and lacks the life experience to understand its message/ interpretat it is worth listening to.
everyone is worth listening to
even someone like you

I sure wish I had a narrow minded hateful teacher such as you around to tell me what's best for my children.

what is 'success' according to you?

I am cringing hard at this and I'm of the same opinion (perhaps some different literature, but yes). Why is this?

Because indoctrinating your children is bad even if what you're indoctrinating them with -isn't- complete idiocy.

user's not talking about making major contributions to anything, just the pure physical capabilities of the brain. If, say, it was a fact that on average most major discoveries are made at the age of 40, that wouldn't be any kind of proof that the human brain works fastest at age 40, because relative brain speed is only a small part of making discoveries.

...oh wait, I'm an idiot, user is confusing exactly those things and you're just following user.

I don't understand.

wife material desu

Europeans are the least inbred people on the planet though.

I was excited when I saw this on the BBC until I actually read it. This guy pins all of it on "late stage capitalism," the fucking poof. It's like the most abhorrent thing about it for him was the Youtube bucks people make on this stuff, rather than the content that is potentially socializing children to be easier abductees at worst and to be unruly and developmentally stunted at best. All of BBC's coverage of this has been wholly inadequate to explain the scale of these videos, and I don't recall seeing any coverage here in the States. Youtube can age restrict my favorite German marches like clockwork but this persists for months and years? Why?

and it sems like they want to keep it that way

i'm right next to my daughter on the computer when she watches her shit
so i know what's up
and i noticed that she's quickly fed up with bullshit and already has her own list of 'classics' she frequently goes back to
it should also be noted that her vocabulary regularly amazes everybody
also:
sola dosis facit venenum
(all things are poison and nothing is without poison; only the dose makes a thing not a poison)

Follow the money.

Thanks.
Will do.

In general I'd focus on fostering a love of reading overall. From there they'd be able to discover what they really want to read on there own, much like I did.

Doesn't mean i'm not going to be cynical as all hell about everything else I teach them.
>Chad/ Stacy Dichotomy in society
>wymen in genereal
>Based Christianity
>etc

>This guy pins all of it on "late stage capitalism," the fucking poof. It's like the most abhorrent thing about it for him was the Youtube bucks people make on this stuff
The algorithm by which these videos are created and made widely available couldn't exist if it wasn't for this modern automatized system of mass entertainment.
Can't we blame things that are obviously a product of capitalism on capitalism?

not everything is disney
without capitalism we had fairytales featuring bluebeard as a serial killer, hansel and gretel almost eaten by a cannibal witch, donkeyskin trying to avoid incest, the list could go on
is everything inappropriate?
wat do?

Reading, learned first in the home, by means of the old English King James Bible, and classical stories. This is what gave me a tremendous advantage over others of my class and country, who's parents relied on the school to "standardize" them with everyone else.

It used to be normal for a child of 6, who could read, to be able to do so properly, in multiple languages.

No, consumerism just reduces everyone to what's "marketable". Relying on it turns you into the lowest common denominator of a group.

Go to Half Price Books. I found great special editions of Aesop's Fables, Grimm's Fairytales and Slavic folk tales. I grew up , and on Greek mythology, as well as some books of Texas and Louisiana folk stories (ghosts and such, mostly).

The stuff I was exposed to after starting public school was pure garbage, and subtly political, too.

Good post.
>Based Christianity

To be fair, at least in math as that is what I’ve read the most amount of literature on regarding this, it is considered a “young” man’s venture. I think in A Mathematician’s Apology this topic is touched on

>algorithm
I don't believe this adequately explains the mediums used in these videos other than those of various animation styles. Those can be cut up and shuffled around and so on and put onto Youtube by some bot, sure. It's also given that the videos are "watched" by bots, generating views, comments, likes, not only generating money in the moment but also increasing the potential viewership of them (to the degree that several of these channels are among the most watched on YT). I don't see how an algorithm can explain the countless hours of live action footage featured in these videos though. All the Eastern Europeans and Southeast Asians that dress up in these same costumes, whose videos feature the same symbols and patterns. An algorithm doesn't make the literal hour-long claymation videos that some of these channels include, again all featuring the same characters and violent tropes. It seems likely that the people making the videos use algorithms in some capacity, but I haven't seen evidence backing up the "it's now an AI run amok" claim.

>profit motive
This does not explain the content of the videos. The money is generated from views, from clicks, it's the clickbait titles and descriptions and the gaming of Youtube's search function that is the cash cow for these channels. After that the actual substance of the videos could be damn well anything, no? So the question at that point becomes why do all of these videos (thousands? Tens of thousands?) across all of these channels, using the wide variety of mediums that they do, all utilize the same patterns and symbols?

These patterns and symbols include large knives, injections (positively reinforced - with children saying "yay" or faint crying previously heard stopping), gory abortions, abduction scenarios, dismemberment, ingestion of human feces (yes, simulated scat porn, and yes, many of the live action videos do feature real children). You go from knives and needles in the tamest of the videos to worse and worse content as you continue through the "recommended" videos. Throughout all of the videos the titling method and the characters used remain the same. These videos have so much traction that the top result for searching "Elsa" is one of them, followed by fifty more. Not only that, but if one were to type a random letter (as a small child may do accidentally) into the search field on Youtube, h for instance, you would come across playlists made of these videos. Why? So children watch them. Videos with unnecessarily gory and sick content, in overlong, inane formats that only a young child could sit through. 1/2
