>Canada

how much are those going for? pic not lit related, but related

Canada is always fucking me over

I honestly have no clue, not as much because it's not British

its going for 80 dollars on ebay

I have one with an Abra sticker on the front of it and it's 49/50 edition, am I rich?

only if you can find a suc- I mean buyer

meh Ill probably just hold onto it

It's very hard to tell since all of the ebay listings for it are to buy it now.

No. Your copy of 10 9 8 7 6 needs to count down to 1 for first printing.

That's a 6th Canadian edition, softcover too. Unfortunately it's worthless.

i have one of these
not sure whether i should hang on to it for a few more years or sell it now. i suspect we have reached (or probably passed) peak Rowling so i'd probably have to wait until she dies for it to get valuable again

I have hardcover first editions of the Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix printed in Great Britain, are those worth anything?

Apparently copies with Joanne Rowling go for more than JK Rowling in the copy right section of the book.

Hijacking this thread because fuck Harry Potter.

Realistically, how much could an in-decent-shape first printing of pic related go for?

Ordered Trainspotting recently and found this when I opened it up.

You lads think it's legit?

If you got Rowling to smear her pussy juice on the title page it would fetch good money.

doubt anything above retail

probably about £2 in your nearest Oxfam bookshop. there were millions of them printed.

probably. worth about a tenner maybe. he's still alive and working and does plenty of book tours etc. signed books are not necessarily rare or valuable.

wtf, why is this so expensive? I still have a couple of cards like that

>he says fuck harry potter
>he makes an infinite jest post
ok i'm gigglin'

>Not a first ed

>most of my harry potter books i scribbled on to valueless in my ADD fueled elementary school days

Because it's not. If look literally anywhere else, vendors are selling (not auctioning) theirs for for substantially less than that. You can bet that person just slapped a price on it, and the item hasn't moved for months. The same thing goes for most Ebay buy it now listings. Just because someone priced it at 17k doesn't mean it is worth 17k.

I hope you feel content for having given money to a socialism endorsing feminist fuck who had long hit the wall before she started making those posts wanting negroes in Europe on twitter.

You don't have to try so hard, user.

I have a version that had an unfortunate accident with rotten fruit when I was a kid, is it worth something?

That's how drug runners and politicians launder money.

fifth (or sixth?) printing bruh, worth like 1% of what a first/first is worth.

For comparison I thought I found a first edition infinite jest for $8 at a used book store recently, similar copies were worth a few grand on ebay. Turned out to be a 3rd or 4th printing, maybe worth $20

i noticed a first of watership down, cover and pages seem perfect but has a library name stamped on top pages edge, is it worth anything
