nope
i don't even bag it most of the time

>weigh
no i can tell how much i need just by looking at it, and i don't care about exact prices

>and label
i didn't even know you could do that

self-weigh and self-label tech is not yet available in California as far as i've seen, and i go to places like whole foods, trader joes, bristol farms, vons, etc. etc.

>grab a handful and put them in a bag without labeling the bag
>get up to checkout with some teenager working who doesn't know shit
>what kind of nuts are these?
>PRICE CHECK ISLE SEVEN!!!

Are you sure you just didn't notice the label printer attached to the scale? A lot of stores in Maryland are doing this, it is way faster when you are ready to check out; and not just for produce. Pic related.

No, I label, but I don't weigh them since the register does that.

Do grocery stores in the rest of the country really not have the label printer attached to the scales? You can't print a label with out placing the product on the scale.

god I hate children

>pick out some prime ribeye
>label it as cabbage
>dumb teenage cashier doesn't know the difference and just scans it and moves on

I used to do that at the produce scales because it made things easier for me at the U-Scan. However, they updated the U-Scans and it's quicker and easier to do it at checkout now. Giant of Carlisle (PA) shopper, here.

That seems excessive.
