It isn't uproariously hilarious, but you'll be chuckling almost incessantly. The wordplay and neurotic characters are unforgettable.
The actual belly-laugh funniest books I ever read were by Mark Twain and James Thurber. Ambrose Bierce's "Devil's Dictionary" is pretty funny, too.
