Juniper berries

Do they really exist? If so, why can't I find any in the six grocery stores, two of them very fancy expensive ones, I visited in Toronto (city proper, not even the suburbs)?

Go to a chinese supermarket

juniper bushes all over the condo property here, bring your own shopping bag and fill yer boots

They're not berries tho

Why would I bring a shopping bag if I'm just going to put them in my boots?

How bad do you want them? I can find you some in Toronto, but youll have to pick them up this weekend.

I get mine from a natural food store. Like, the crunchy earthy hippie kind.

any time i see them, they're dried and in with the spices.

In a lot of places it's illegal to pick them unless you're a certified business or some shit like that. Tons around here but when I asked the local "ranger" if they were good to pick he said that it wasn't permitted.

what? why?
fuck the police its a fucking berry

Yes, you asshole, they're what Bombay Gin is made form.

>asking permission to forage

lol, just take what you want when nobody’s looking

this
what are they gonna do?

Been wanting to buy some of these, but I am a veggie and all the recipes I can find with them are meat-based.
Any good uses for these outside of flavouring meat?
Not counting gin.

how about you stop being a faggot?

A native bird thrives off them most likely retard.

Think of desserts that use pepper.
So add it to chai flavoured anything

>fucking necrophages
disgusting

Its not a berry.

>GUYS GUYS LOOK AT ME I HAVE A SPECIAL DIET THAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT THAN YOU

Aren’t vegans the ones always going on about how much more diverse and creative their food is than normal people? Rub the berries on tofu or gluten or a mushroom or whatever, you boring attention whore.

I use them to make sauerkraut, don’t pick them wild as some are poisonous.

Aldi or other German grocery stores should have them, otherwise online.
