Disney did do the CGI Jungle Book movie, so I imagine doing one with cats wouldn't be that impossible. Of course, if it's possible to make it a GOOD movie is another question, but it's not the one you asked.

I feel like the Warrior series gets too dark to actually make it a Kid's Movie. And your only hope is making it animated or heavily CGI'd and that's kinds hard to sell to adults. So its stuck in a weird in-between place. Weird for books you think would just be about cats.

You could film it, but the director would have to assume things that are left unclear in the book (like whether exultants are beautiful tall people or weird genetic freaks, or how much the Citadel would look like a medieval castle or a spaceport). Alot of scenes are very cinematic, like the avern fight or the alzabo.
