What should I go for next?

if you liked Atomised, you can read just about anything next.

don't be a fag and read his poetry

The Possibility of an Island is, by far, his best book. I don't know about the English translation though.

His poetry is pretty shallow.

>not Whatever

Don't listen to this fool, user.

I bet your mother tongue is English.

Not even close.

So what is it?

Whatever is his first novel, it's quite reasonable he improved a lot after it. And indeed, The Possibility is more mature in every respect. The reason why it looks less successfull is because the English cover dreadfully sucks. You know, in the US and related countries they tend to judge everything by its cover.

Not him but his first two novels and Soumission are his best.

I'm strongly convinced The Possibility of an Island is his best work. But oh well, just opinions.

From this to that in
