Talmudic learning consists of 20+ volumes on interpretation of the Old Testament/Chumash mainly. Some of my rabbis still haven’t finished it. Plus there’s basically no point reading a translation as it’s very postmodern in its approach i.e learn Aramaic.

If you are actually interested in it then you join a yeshiva/Jew school. They’ll start you off learning in groups and one on one with Rabbis until you’re comfortable by yourself
