Philosophically, What is the opposite of stoicism?
If you're proud of your stoicism, are you really a stoic?

Perhaps melodramaism
Doesn't sound like you're that proud of your stoicism.

I already don't do any of these except for occasionally reading fiction. If my grandparents were alive I'd probably ignore them though.

There's no excuse for your autism at Saturnalia
Our entire culture is argumentative to a fault. If you were a vegetarian they'd eat smelly, copious amounts of beef in front of you, trying to get you to prove yourself wrong.

Nigger Chryssipus died laughing his ass off at a drunk donkey. Lighten up, you're practicing Stoicism wrong
>"The most certain sign of wisdom is cheerfulness." Not a stoic, but still
>The most certain sign of wisdom is cheerfulness
You were almost the first animeposter to convince me that animeposters could be saved. You didn't have to mention Montaigne, but you're doing him wrong by saying he's not at least an inheritor of the stoic school of thought. Great quote though.
>Chryssipus allegedly died of disdain for plebs
>Shoehorning philosophical schools of thought into everyday life
I've been guilty of this before. I found that "jus b urself" is actually unironically the best advice in those situations. If you start ruminating on philosophical considerations, it shows in your demeanor, you become a lot less confident and secure. Basically, don't turn to philosophy for self-help
