>it's the abuses of capitalism I have a problem with
Nothing special about your opinion, everyone who lives in a first world capitalistic society likes it.
Frederick Engels - Socialism: Utopian and Scientific
(unironically)

Less Than Nothing
...
>I like the comodification of the soul for sale to the lowest common denominator
>everyone who lives in a first world capitalistic society likes it
Wew lad
fuck you i fucking hate you I FUCKING HATE YOU
funny, the best art we have produced always comes from capitalistic societies
the best art we have produced was either made under feudalism/absolute monarchy or by the last vestiges of aristocratic elements before they got killed off by capitalism
i live i a third world society and i love it
the thing holding us back is all the socialists
Harry Potter
This is the art of capitalism. Happiness is something that can be bought by anyone with enough for a TV/computer/disney-world vacation. There is no need for a struggle to the death for a higher value b/c nobodies gonna pay for that shit.
all of them
kek
just u wait
>best art
>acting like you have a valid opinion when your sentence starts with these words
>was born in third world country to wealthy westernized parents
>thinks he's better than traditionalist countrymen b/c he's been brainwashed by ideas of a foreign culture that he neither understands nor would ever be capable of creating on his own
You sound like an asian. Willing to turn yourself into a cheap copy of a white man just to feel better than the rice paddy plebs eh?
best art is art closest to platonic ideals. That's an objective truth no matter what derridan bullshit you believe
nobody works here, there is nothing being produced, i think you are mentally stuck 50 years in the past
>race traitor
the intelectual power of /int/ everyone
>best art is art closest to platonic ideals. That's an objective truth no matter what derridan bullshit you believe
race traitor isn't the right word. Cultural sell out is better.
you must know a lot about my culture
Locke's treatises, Wealth of Nations and then Deleuze.
>I like being a wage slave
Death of a Salesman
is that Mike Enoch?
>thinks capitalism is anything that's not socialism
You could take a look at some Austrian stuff
/pol/ tells me there is only capitalism and communism (aka socialism)
their knowledge is indisputable truth
>t. socialists
unless you live in venezuela, north korea, sweden (not really lol), Cuba you don’t even know what Socialism is like. the USSR had a higher standard of living than the US (for its working classes) for decades. Technocapitalism will devour you
thread, don't ever make me check the address to know that I'm on Veeky Forums ever again.
It's the western cunts that want your country to be poor, they need it to be poor
I bet you would be quick to blame shit like colonialism on capitalists, wouldn't you, sperg?
>platonic ideals
We all know the theory of forms is bullshit since Aristotle killed Plato in metaphysics
>the USSR had a higher standard of living than the US
lol
>capitalism suuuuuuuucks duuuuuuude
now post the poverty rate for the united states
Should be pointed out that it's relative poverty, so a poor person in the US is still much better off than a poor person in say Eastern Europe. Also the US has a high poverty rate compared to other OECD countries.
...
Zizek, I think
Any American college book on business, I promise.
/leftypol/ will tell you capitalism is not the one responsible for this outright question the validity of the data
>nobody mentions atlas shrugged
jeez user
It's true if you correct for population size and apply purchasing power parity.
I think OP was looking for good books.
Just read a basic book on economics
Elaborate on why that is wrong
If they wanted third world countries to be poor they wouldn't trade with them or allow for companies to move their you fucking moron. The TPP alone would have increased Vietnam's economy by 10% over 2 decades
It's depressing that there is no good fiction with this message/perspective. If it's tackled at all, it's the opposing view.
Because it's observable in non-capitalist societies? Nations have been in a competition for resources for thousands of years before capitalism existed
...
Not him, but maybe it has to do with colonialism preceding capitalism.
.5 % growth a year is basically nada when we’re talking about shithole countries
>mfw I like capitalism
Do you mean you like market economies, free trade etc?
Or do you mean that you like capital to be kept scarce so that the benefits flow to those who supply it rather than those who actually do the productive work?
>Books for this feel?
Do you mean books to produce this feel?
Or books to sustain this feel?
Or books to challenge this feel?
>Do you mean you like market economies, free trade etc?

A & B
>Do you mean books to produce this feel?

Again, A & B.
Gospel of Wealth - Carnegie
just read netorare manga
it is a good book
because of how bad it is right
The characters are total caricatures.
It's actually quite a fucking lot, especially when your argument is that we're trying to keep them poor
Vietnam’s economic growth for 2018 is predicted to be 6.7%. 0.5% is not «a lot».
Capitalism supports itself through ignorance.
I'm not trying to be an edgelord saying that, it's just that the dominant power structure that is capitalism has decided it's better and safer to have people confused about what capitalism is and what its detractors are angry about rather than mount a coherent impassioned but logical defense of itself. I'm not saying it has to be this way, but that's the strategy currently. 95% of the people that say they love capitalism have no real coherent idea what it is. They just think they hate the alternatives more.
It's hard to have good, intelligent literature praising capitalism's virtues in that kind of environment.
>Book is bad on Veeky Forums meme
HI LA RI OUS
What are some books for the feel of wishing to go to the bone zone with Emma Stone?
