Where do I start with Alice Munro?

Where do I start with Alice Munro?

Tweets 2 and 4 of that list are gold

Dance of the Happy Shades. One of the very few books that I read in fewer than three sittings.

Canadians will defend their kin to no end. That's just how we are.

Nowhere. No style here whatsoever.

That fourth tweet is cracking me the fuck up.

i always want to say it and i never do because it's stupid, but alice munro quite possibly wrote about my ancestors. my dad grew up learning to hate her and his family was from the part of Wingham that she wrote about. he says that she wrote "bad things" about my family.

Runaway or Hateship, Friendship. But really anything is good. She’s always on point.

your dad was right. she's a bitch.

>greatest writer alive when Bloom, Pynchon, Banville are living
lol. I mean she's good, but don't shill your nationality

Never read her before, but look at this fucking face holy shit. She looks dreadfully optimistic and bourgeois. NO, im not a commie. There is no way a person with this face writes good books. maybe she bakes good cookies for hear grandkids, but she cant write for shit.

There’s only death in those eyes

Perhaps those of you who were born 'n raised. Those of us who weren't couldn't give a fuck less because we're aware Canada is the younger bargain-bin-fed socialist genderfluid sibling to Murica.
>inb4 whining, the current libtard PM fondled an underaged girls tits on tv

I deign to think what may have come from him and that twat, Clinton, holding office at the same time. At least Trump et adv. (read: M. Foreign Affairs) understand how business works.

She looks like she knows she's a hack and enjoys the fact that most other people who know are not as well paid.

At the end.

>tv comedian shits on popular book
>Veeky Forums says he's a genius
>he recommends another author
>totally ignores her
i luv tommy pinecone! if u dont luv tommy pinecone, ur a pleb

Are you guys judging books by their author's cover?

>Bloom
>Banville
lol. I mean, "The Sea" wasn't good, but dont shill your anomalous amount of chromosomes.

>don't shill your nationality
