>History of Rome
>stops with the end of the Western Empire

Took him over 7 years just to cover over a thousand years of Roman history, how much longer would it take to cover the other thousand years after being so burned out on it?

Me. But then I discovered his Revolutions podcast.

>Listening to anything other than Hardcore History with Dan Carlin...

Fucking Plebs.

Hey Dan

>Only listening to Dan's Fanfiction of History

>"I'm a... fan... of history.."

I also cried when he got married and when he had babs.

He tried so hard to make the Haitian slaves not look like monsters. I felt bad for him desu.

There's a difference between post-independence Hatian cultivators and post-indepencence Hatian military officers.

True, but the cultivators were lazy and refused to do any work other than logging and subsistence farming. Haiti would still be just as poor and awful if there hadn't been a military caste.

They paid for their freedom from the plantations with blood, only to face new dictators forcing them back onto the plantations.

Fuck that, fuck them, I would go for subsistence farming over making sugar all day.
