I've ordered from ThriftBooks numerous times and have never encountered books with a disagreeable smell.

2)how do I always carry them with me without looking like an asshole
3)I live in a country where 70% of the population is functionally illiterate. Where the fuck do I expect to find specific editions, of specific books, in specific languages

I have 500 something ebooks on my kindle and I downloaded every single one of them from bok. Should I feel bad about this? Is it really all that different from checking a book out from the library until you are done reading it?
