I've honestly noticed that males are much nicer when it comes to opening doors. I'm able to see this a lot in my daily life, where a guy will almost always just casually, without thinking, hold a door open, whether there's a guy or girl behind them, and where I always see girls just not a give a fuck and not hold open a door or check to see when I or anyone else is literally right behind them. I guess girls have this idea of "if I just act decent and nice that might mean the guy will think I want to fuck him, and I don't want him to think that!", whereas guys are usually just like, "Holding open the door is just a normal and polite thing to do."

Also, it'd be funny if you reversed the genders of the comic, or had it be one guy holding the door open for the other guy, but with the same outcome. Then the message behind it would seem as bizarre as it really is.
