First for Xianxia is better than litRPG.

Second for webnovels are novels too

First for Control and what the actual FUCK was his problem?

bleh

I agree and I made that post.

>not reading xianxia litrpg

my eyes glowed with killing intent at your post.

Where should I start with Orion's Arm and what does it count as? Also, this seems stupid.

[Killing Intent] Leveled up by 1!

when will the female protag meme calm the fuck down.

Getting real tired of every book being about some strong independent bitch.

Don't read them then

It won't, women dominate the genre.

>when will the female protag meme calm the fuck down
Hopefully, never.

Why are antifa girls so fucking ugly, bros?

SHES SO PRETTY

Perhaps someone can turn it upside down. Imagine a book where a stronk wymyn goes out in the world with her sword only to lose fights and get raped all the time!

The nips know what's up.

The two after Annihilation don't really add anything worthwhile to the first and I'd recommend skipping both.

It's pretty good depending on the translation. Starts fantastic, has a good but hit or miss middle, but just trails off at the end because Sapkowski got angry and drunk like he always does.

Bakker's way ahead of you.

Both are complete shit.

You people are lightweights. There has yet to be a novel written in any genre with women worse than the ones in Wheel of Time.

>Bakker's way ahead of you.

>leave home to become a wizard
>guy won't teach you
>seduce him to get him to teach you, have unpleasant stinky old man sex
>he still doesn't teach you
>sneak after him to join his scalper troop
>get caught, disarmed, and almost raped
>hang out, become their friend
>they later disarm you and almost rape you again

Mimara had a hard life.

Dont forget

>getting knocked up by a guy you think might be your father

She knew he wasn't deep down shut up

/sffg/! I present to you the final frontier, isekai xianxia litrpg

I wonder how big her penis is.

I got a few books written by David Eddings. Are they worth reading?

To the user that recommended it. Thanks.

SHIT! how the fuck does this keep sneaking up on me? every one of my suggested reading books have been picked so far and im always late to the discussion.

This is a surprisingly accurate list, I've read about half of the books and agree on how you placed every one of them.

>late to the discussion
The deadline and main discussion is still 1,5 weeks away my dude.

Generally agree although I didn't enjoy Starship Troopers

I am ~90% done though so I will be moving on to Amber and Blood afterward.

She is waifu material made 3D in the crucible that was the past two years of American politics

Attached: AGW4.jpg (960x640, 76K)

Yeah, I found that out the hard way. Although I did like the tense moments in Authority and the gay moments in Acceptance.

I’m reading The lady of the lake right now. All the god damn flashback bullshit is super annoying he is a much better as a short story writer than a novelist

Time of Contempt and Baptism of Fire were really good. The later books are a big drop in quality because he had a spat with his publisher and he got tired of doing them, so just sorta shat them out.

True I really enjoyed those Tower of Swallows was pretty alright also after it got going about 100 pages in this thing is a slog so far though

It all went to shit after the mage coup, the Battle of Brenna was great though.

Too much Ciri tbqh. I mean I like her well enough unlike some people but Geralt and Yennefer needed more time than they got later on. Especially when a lot of the later Ciri stuff comes to nothing because Sapkowski stopped giving a fuck.

Really enjoyed the parts where fisheye man kicked her shit in.

>doesn't even rape her, tells her she's too flat
savage

Tried to rape Yeniffer though the dude has good taste

She deserved it

Reading Cugel's Saga. Is it just me or is it a lot weaker than the first two Dying Earth books? Feels like a retread of The Eyes of the Overworld.

Yennefer isn't particularly well endowed herself though. I guess that was just for the sport.

t. gamefag

>cuck Geralt
>get away with it
Not on Fisheye's watch

Yennefer does seem like she'd be more fun to rape than Ciri for some reason. Maybe because Ciri seems like she'd start enjoying it halfway through like some slut in a Japanese porn comic

Geralt had it coming, unironically.

>get away with it
Geralt has cucked her himself by then so they're even.

Men can't cuck women, that's just the natural state of things.

>Act like a beta cuck for years
>surprised to be cucked
Geralt would have been one of those guys that would agree to an "open" relationship where his gf is constantly having threesomes that he doesn't get to participate in but always tells everyone how great and fulfilling it is. Yennefer just wanted a good spanking not a soyboy that would meekly let her do whatever she wanted. Bitch wanted discipline and Geralt couldn't provide that in the short stories.

tl;dr
>the virgin witcher
>the chad sorcerer

urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cuckquean

Of course the definition of cuck has shifted so much from internet memery that the original definition doesn't really match this one.

cuckqueen is just a meme m8

if you are a high value male then girls will share you, as long as you are discreet about it and don't compromise theirs or their children's inheritance they don't care

They won't like it though. Instinctively, they know the concept endangers their lineage.

>if you are a high value male
so how did you find out about it?

Yennefers not a Queen, she's a dirty scheming Witch and Radovid will send her to the pyre.

reading about powerful men and how their wives pretty much always accept them being unfaithful

>so how did you find out about it?
Knowing about pretty much any nobleman in history.

>illiterate
>bad reading of characters
>game references
This isn't /v/

Accepting is different from endorsing.

This book is part of a trilogy that's post-apocalyptic heroic fantasy western.

/sffg/ isn't much better. And Radovid bring justice to mages is hinted at in the books.

Sure, mages among others, but it's clearly a gamefag. Radovid's super minor in the books and Yennefer was one of the least political mages.

true, but women aren't as offended by cuckoldry as men

I guess it is because women are always aware of who their offspring is so less risks involved

>true, but women aren't as offended by cuckoldry as men

Attached: thats-bullshit-but-i-believe-it.png (500x305, 36K)

>Radovid's super minor in the books
His one paragraph was great though

Yes it sounds like it would have made an interesting subject for further stories in the setting. Unfortunately it was done by video game writers so you get Mad Rad the Sad Lad dying pointlessly to a quip.

Why do you read sci-fi/fantasy?

Nothing better to do

I like hard sf because it presents mindbending ideas in a digestible manner by relating them to people and an immediate conflict.
No idea why anyone would ever read fantasy though.

Noob here, I'm a little surprised you guys count graphic novels in lists like this. I'd guess people here would be snobs and exclude anything other than pure novels

I like them. They make me feel good.

Yen and Geralt are both infertile so this is irrelevant.

Their instincts were still crafted by millions of years of evolution regardless of what their conscious minds think or want. Plus Yennefer at least strongly wishes she wasn't sterile.

Why did no one tell me Terra Ignota was unfinished... this is worse than asoiaf or notw :(

Any fantasy that that doesn't skimp on the wonder and/or action?

it doesn't change the biological urges

Library at mount char

I'm going to be honest. The description of the book I saw immediately turned me off since I despise that sort of dreary middle-american trailer park/suburb anti-aesthetic with every aching bone in my body but the first page brought my attention back. I think I'll give this a go

On the evidence of the first hundred pages it's brilliant. A book about a human spy's asymmetrical warfare against an alien empire, with subversive sloganeering, paper wars, phony bombs, and mob hitmen

Attached: Wasp.jpg (276x475, 16K)

Got memed into reading Altered Carbon. First book was OK, not great. Second book wasn't as good, pretty boring. Third book was actual garbage. Don't waste your time.

You probably won't be surprised to learn that the author shows up in the comments section to yell at random bloggers about how THE SEX I WRITE IS THE SEX I HAVE and that they can't understand how he crafted a perfect caricature of black masculinity.

Any more writers like Dick? I really like the themes he repetitively keeps writing about in his books.

>2018
>not reading Gemmell

He halted some twenty paces from the pair. 'Jon Shannow, the King of Kings has spoken the words of your death. I am Rhodaeul the Hunter. Do you have anything to say before you die?'
'No,' said Shannow, palming his gun and blasting Rhodaeul from the saddle. The Atlantean hit the ground hard, a hammering pain in his chest; he tried to draw his pistol, but Shannow rode forward and fired a second shot that smashed his skull.
'Sweet Chronos!' exclaimed Nu. 'I cannot believe it.'
'Neither could he,' said Shannow. 'Let us move on.'
'But... what of the body?'
'That's why God made vultures,' answered Shannow, touching heels to his stallion.

This is weird and I'm sure the author is sneaking trough many of his fetishes, but I love it.

I've been out of the loop for fantasy for 5/6 years, and I'd like to read something: what's come outin this time span?

You really need to check out The Traitor Baru Cormorant.

City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Benet is also great.

I think its the weakest part of the Dying Earth series, which is to say its still decent. But once you go back to the wizards, shit gets better.

why is geralt such a gloomy bitch in the short stories?

>bawww i have to slay monsters for a living with my badass swords and potions
>bawww i'm so horrifying to look upon (except to all these women who want my witcher dick)
>bawww no one likes me (except for all my funny and colorful companions)
>bawww muh lesser evil

i guess what i'm saying is lambert best witcher

>Reading anything by The Race Traitor Seth Dickinson

Avoid amerikwan sjw fiction. This is something that Nazis and Communists can actually agree on btw.

Ist it really that many?
The main bunch of women protags are bound to urban-fantasy YA novels with questionable quality, and those shouldn't be read by anyone here anyways.

Have there been good Fantasy novels with girl/woman protags?
I've read Sabriel which was not bad.
