What are those cubes next to the Kaaba? (Mecca)

Quite a few CIA conspiracy theories have been proven right, along the lines of MK Ultra and selling crack to the black community.

- Gladio - perhaps the most fucked up of all conspiracy theories.
- The Dreyfuss affair.
- US faking evidence for BOTH wars against Iraq.
- Watergate.
- CIA trafficking drugs in 1980s.

Those were conspiracies, but were they conspiracy theories? Were people saying they were true before they were uncovered?

Pretty much every of started out as conspiracy theories, later confirmed to be true. In case of Watergate for example, it took several months before the scandal reached Nixon, yet there were rumors about his involvement long before.

Could you please explain what's so fucked up about Gladio? Just looking at Wikipedia quickly makes it seem like the U.S. and NATO were prepared to fund Italian resistance against Soviet Invasion if that ever came about.

>started out as conspiracy theories, later confirmed to be true.

But were they widespread? Were they specific or vague? I mean, if you say "bullshit" to everything on the news, you're bound to be right sometimes, but that doesn't mean you know what IS going on.

The resistance cells that were around in Italy were used to commit right wing terrorism and destabilize the country.

Watergate is the classic one. Especially good since its where the term "conspiracy theory" comes from

>Could you please explain what's so fucked up about Gladio?

In Italy it quickly morphed into Propaganda Due, a clandestine shadow government.

As a bonus: the cozy relationship between Gladio and P2 came into light in the wake of the Vatican banking scandal.

Ah, okay, that makes a lot more sense.

I thought that was JFK getting shot?

Not really.

Watergate wasn't something that lone nuts were cooking up in their fringe leaflets. It took awhile to involve Nixon, but this was all something being done by open congressional investigations, all covered by the media, all done before the public eye.

Iraq Wars are nonsense. They didn't fake Hussein invading Kuwait which was the reason for the first war, and everybody knew the WMD excuse was bullshit before they ever invaded the second time.

Sometimes I wonder if the government will actively try to make their conspiracies sound stupid in the future so we will see it as a joke.

The Jews, the Milner Group, the Rhodes Society

They all watch his show because they like the products he sells. Nobody takes him seriously.

the despair code, the belray surge and the kstan

user, the government is too inefficient to pull off a good conspiracy. Just look at the USSR.
On the other hand, you've probably been laughing off cultural Marxism for quite a while.

USURPER!

If the cultural marxists are so much more competent, maybe they should be in charge.

What makes you think they're competent? They're people who buy bullshit narratives, not people pulling strings.

cultural marxism, a meme. kek

>user, the government is too inefficient to pull off a good conspiracy. Just look at the USSR.

USSR actually pulled out of the best conspiracies. The whole "moon landing was a lie" conspiracy was deliberately created and spread by the Soviets in order to undermine the propaganda boost that the US got after the Apolllo program.

They openly admitted that during the 1980s. Yet, nuts all over the world continue to spread the story.

>cultural
>marxism
Is neither a cultural phenomenon nor has anything to do with marxism.

Roswell wasn't a weather balloon, but it also wasn't aliens. Up in the air as to whether that counts.

>using the voltaire meme when there's only 2 parts in the subject rather than 3

Goodness, and here I thought the Soviets did the better JFK conspiracy theories.

Target balloon for an advanced fighter prototype?

I mean, Area 51 is a weapons development site.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harem_conspiracy

gonna need a source for that
seeing as the soviets acknowledged the landing themselves and their media reported it and their scientists did scientisty shit with their american counterparts etc.
