This is uninspired and tryhard. Music like is produced for brand recognition, not for the sake of music. I could like some of The Mars Volta here and there for their technical skills, but only music that emphasises the singer should have the lyrics considered, and even then, most has emotive qualities that are lost on the page. Here and there a decent song is written by a rock or metal band, but who really gives a shit about their lyrics. If you play folk and sing well written songs, then you can get the validation you need for that, but otherwise fuck off. You're emoting sounds, not expressing content.
